I think Sanchez has had a solid season and every goalkeeper has the odd day where they make mistakes. He's one of the few who's managed to have a solid season despite the circus at the club and especially working with 2 random and genuinely awful CBs every game.

Actually new coach discovering the same problems - like the issues with passing out the back with our CBs - Took Maresca a while before he directed Sanchez to play the ball in the air and into pockets of space that open up because of the opposition press. We are restarting with Liam now
-
Matisse brought up a fair point about the first goal we conceded in the corner. One of the solutions we came up with this season was to empty the box and leave attackers up front, so that Sanchez has less difficulty collecting crosses into the box and setting up counters. I agree that you're not going to win a lot of duels in our own box with the players that we have. Should have concentrated on making life easier for Sanchez, since we know he has limitations. Now, new coach. Different problems.

Mean be nice to turn it around especially as a lot is against. Their unbeaten at home this season and only lost 2 so far in all. We've not beaten them at home since 2021 which was our last win in any competition against them.. If we can get a early goal/not do silly mistakee/try not to have players sent off then hopefully a chance..
-
Apparently Enzo isn’t happy with the constant changes at the club. Don’t blame .. we all are.
-
What are you talking about? Arsenal used their best team and actually we missed 4 or 5 best players.

For me he hasn't been at his best recently but still not currently replaceable. Maybe in 2 or 3 years.should have really added a few years when we gave him a new contract.
-
swap deal for Vitinha, lol 🤠
-
-
150M euros and he can go
-
Hopefully a team comes in for Joao Pedro, now he is fucking woeful
-
Any team would be fucking stupid not to

🔵🗯💣PSG are showing interest in Chelsea’s Enzo Fernandez. (@lequipe)
-
Still we've won this cup four times since the North London mongs last won it.
-
Lets hope thats not Roseniors team talk
-
No team has beaten Arsenal at home this season... Theyre a strong side. Either team they play is strong..we however have many faults unfortunately. We aren't at the same level
-
Hasselbaink showing Pedro was to blame for their first. Stood there with hands on his hips, walks towards Ben White, doesnt jump
-
The big save Sanchez made with his feet the commentator is raving, the problem with Sanchez is when he has to think he's a liability, when he doesn't have to think he makes saves. Get rid, he's garbage...probably captain next season
-
Its the whole back area though - Cudicini, Cech would be looking average without top defenders. Sort that out with Enzo and Caecedo in front of them, stick a WC No 9 up top and we're challenging again
-
Yes with James, Caecedo and Palmer definitely
-
Certainly wont be a truly top side again until we replace Sanchez, been saying it for years, he genuinely has a high ceiling but the problem is his floor is so low and you can't win things consistently with a goalkeeper who on any given day will drop a series of huge howlers and no one is even surprised and no one would be surprised if it happened again the next game. Its just not a position you can get away with cutting corners or being creative.
-
We need to look closer to home, littered with mistakes, bad choices and beaten by a much better side Simon Hooper was a small a problem, our defending, choices and keeper mistakes were even bigger
-
fat boy Simon Hooper has a history of cunting us badly he is a proper prick
-
The defensive problems might have been masked if Caicedo and James were on the pitch, but that's the point these director goons are failing to realize. The problems are only being masked. The center backs are our weak links. We can only hope Rosenior can convince them of that, where Maresca failed to do so.
