Except for the fuck up in the last minute just before their free kick, Alvaro was absolutely phenomenal. One of the top No. 9 performances in the Chelsea shirt recently.

That can happen to anyone really a lot of stupid shit happens in the last few seconds of a game. Literally happens all the time.

Yes, it is certainly not going to destroy the image and performance he put in today. Phenomenal.

Alvaro Morata has had a hand in 10 goals in his opening 10 Premier League games for Chelsea (7 goals, 3 assists) – only Diego Costa was involved in more in his first 10 for the club (11).

Lethal in the air but has to show more composure with the ball at his feet. Thankfully his late miss wasn't costly

Him missing chances made him look like Torres but otherwise, yeah, he was phenomenal. His best all round performance for us so far.

I thought he was great vs Bournemouth aswell despite that ludicrous miss.

Now, let dissect what we saw as opposed to the last few games...A work ethic, running the channels and an ability to not just hold up the ball but drive at defenders.

Much fucking better, but it has to continue. The header was brilliant, absolute top class, but this guy much continue to be angry every single game and not be weak.

But today mean more given United are better than Bournemouth. IIRC, all but 2 of his goals are headers. Really needs to sort out that feet of his.

Could of had a hattrick today. Just crucial moments his control let him down like when he feinted past Smalling and chose to do so again and also at the end. Class performance though.

Can you imagine Lukaku scoring Moratas goal . I can’t ... :)

yeah some might say that they’d rather lukaku in a counter attack situation but that’s less useful to a big side than what Morata offers.
