I love Zola and would have him here at any capacity but I'd rather Boas came here with his own group of assistants. Hopefully we can start clearing out all the useless assistants and coaches currently working with the first team.

how dare you slate Emanalo, he is one of a kind we will never find any-one who sits on his ass and looks dis-intrested in the dugout so much ever again rolleyes.gif

Emenalo is apparently the chief opposition scout. No wonder we lost so many games last season!

Boas is my favourite choice so I'm more than delightet if true, he seems to get his players fully concentratet and prepared, a mourinho like wholehearted manager, whilst letting his players more freedom than mou and playing an more crative and offensive 4-3-3 than mou...

on the other hand I would rather have Modric than Mouthino, because he is proven for the EPL, but I think if spurs want more money we should go for mouthino so they can stick they're head into eachothers a**...

with Hulk and Mouthino many many problems would've been solved... thats what I'm thinking... and Lukaku and de bruyne are no where near makeing an immediate effect at our first-team...

its only a very logical and good thing if we buy two players, one for the wing one for the middle of the park, to build that bridge that between youth and aged squad which should have been developed back in 2009...

He won't be paying it himself lol.

He is an aristocrat and is already very rich. His grandmom had a huge winery business and he has counts and barons in his family tree. So while it is very unlikely he paid for it himself, it is not outside the realm of possibility.

Good thing I like about this potential managerial change is, it's been relatively controversy free.

Whereas left, right & centre we're being accused of tapping up by everyone, with Villas-Boas we made Porto aware we were talking to him over the weekend and they were resigned to the fact he would leave & could leave should they be compensated.

It's clean, quick & caught the "media" completely off-guard. Proving how useless they are when they had us all believe, Hiddink was the man. Smart stuff by Chelsea & the board <- Seldom that is.

What I like about him, is that he seems to be ambitious and to have balls. Indeed, he kinda risks his career in coming here, a entire squad to rebuilt, big ego players, a club with high expectations... It could burn him his wings... Seems to have balls and I like this a lot.

Villas-Boas stated his desire for a short career, he wants to retire at 45.

I just hope he's in it for football reasons (i.e. wants to create an impact/legacy somewhere), and not purely for financial reasons.

Got a source?

And anyway he has 12 years, and I think when he bought out his own contract eliminated any doubts that he's doing it for finicial reasons.

Yea, it's in the full verison of the 'shit one' interview, it's been posted on here a few times. He states that he wants a short career, until he's 45.
