If you guys did not know , Andre Villa Boas was the one who prepared and compiled Jose Mourinho's Match reports back then at Chelsea and Inter. Here's one of his reports when he was Jose's assistant in 2005. The game was Chelsea vs Newcastle at Stamford Bridge - Nov. 19th 2005 ! :)blue%20scalf.gif

Anyway what a briiliant move, fucking brilliant. Hiddink is probably a bit old and i have a feeling Roman FINALLY wants a long term manager. It's either pay €15m to get him out of Porto or give him €15m euro's pay off getting sacked after a year.

I had a feeling that we were targeting someone else because Gourlay was saying a few days ago that talks were going very well and we'll get a new manager soon, even within a week. Now.... The Hiddink stuff was going all over the show with the Turks so it certainly wasn't with Guus because those talks hadn't even happened. He was still deciding whether to stay at Turkey or not.

Villas-Boas is young (Fuck me he's the same age as Lampard :o!) and he's gonna have fresh ideas and will learn and learn. This has to be a long term idea. Fucking excited so much. I'm sure he has some players to bring with him too :) i'd love Falcao but with Torres and Drogba i can't see it. Hulk... really a chance, he plays as a winger right? Boy we need one (or 2) of those.

Feels like when Jose came. I don't wanna compare because it's unfair maybe but he has so many similarities with the main man. This is such a good move for our club.

I fully agree mate. There is something about him. He is one of those very rare people who get into your head and you like them from the very first moment you see them.

I'd be surprised if this hasn't been posted in here already but its been a long day in filling these pages up and some might've missed it . He speaks fluent English , is warm and friendly , readily likeable , doesn't shrug away from a question and you can tell he's not ducking behind a wall as a personality . Starts speaking English at 15 : 00 and goes on for another 15 minutes , speaking about his time at Chelsea and the fact that he still talks to staff and players and likes life in London , as his family does as well .

Alleged total payoffs: CR £4m; FA in £8m; JM in £1.7m; JM out £18m; AG £5.5m; LFS £12.6m; CA £6m; AVB in £13.5m; GH in £3.6m. Total £72.9m + £13.2m for AVB

= £86.1m

*ahem*

Don't see why the fees for Football Directors (Frank Arnesen, Guus Hiddink) are accounted, might as well include all the board members and the backroom staff.
