Malouda, Anelka (sorry Nicola), Bosingwa OUT

Lampard and Essien LESSER ROLE

McEachran and Sturridge EXTENDED ROLE

Big shout but I agree. We MUST start thinking about the future of this club.

I don't see why Essien should have a lesser role? He was so strong today and you could tell he bought (some) stability to the team when he came on. More than once can I remember him collecting the ball from an opponent in defence and carrying it upfield to attack!

No?

Carlo Ancelotti's reaction:

We started well the game, played well, scored and were unlucky to concede a goal. We had a lot of difficulties in the game, were able to score again and at the end we needed to stay more in concentration but a lot of times this season in games we have conceded goals and this is not good.

I don't know when you concede a goal if something is wrong, but they have to stay more in focus.

"Daddy, why didn't you put the goal in the back of the net like the other people?"

It's okay Norita, this shit is going to get better next season...and Daddy's car is still in the parking lot."

You never know, that little boy could be a future Chelsea legend one day! Maldini's number has been retired for Milan with the only exception being if one of his sons joins the club.
