I think their squad is solid because they have a lot of solid players. Not because they spend money.

What solid players? The only decent players they have are Fletcher and probably Mingolet. Gardner and Bardsley are average. Everyone else probably won't make the starting line-up of any other PL team.

A typical Manure game. The other team scores & Manure will pop 2 more in.

Whatever, one may say, Manure are the best PL team, this year.

Was actually referring to the fact that Brambel has yet again scored an own goal, not that utd got a goal they don't deserve.

Jonh O'Shea

Sessegnon

Johnson

Cattermole

Larsson

Colback

I think yours and my interpretation of solid differs.

Fine let's scratch "solid". Which of these player would make the West Ham XI for example? Imo, none.

Cattermole would because he fits within Big Sam's philosophy of "if it moves kick it, if it doesn't kick it till it does'. John O'Shea might also. Larrson is decent, might get a few games over the likes of Jarvis.

Cattermole belongs in the 80s. You just can't play football any more the way he does. John O'Shea would probably be playing the Championship if he didn't have utd on his CV. Larson might get in the starting XI because he's probably one of the best set piece takers in the league.

Why are we even debating this? Who cares about Sunderland?
