Hmmm link on Big Issue page says our donations go to Hammersmith and Fulham Foodbank but doesn't say how much raised Obviously the money isn't that vital to the clubs. They'd make more cash if they reduced the cost instead of being greedy preying on fans that actually keep the game alive. Either that or they're getting more money off the gangster betting cartels. What do they think the future is just pretend crowd noises on TV. Theyre probably working out a way to make the whole fucking game animation and CGI with no fans and only available on TV

Good that fans are giving the money elsewhere..but why try and carry it on another month. Clearly it isn't working unless people have more money then sense to pay to watch. They think they can get away with it because they think that us fans that go to the grounds will pay up. If the virus continues to stop people going, this will escalate to foreign fans watching abroad on their networks . They will start to be charged more as well. Hmmm link on Big Issue page says our donations go to Hammersmith and Fulham Foodbank but doesn't say how much raised Wot no Chels ?? Yeah I heard a lot of those figures were disputed eg Newcastle this morning was £80 000 and this afternoon £25 000, and you have £60 000 [emoji5] But the sentiment is rightChelsea been doing it for several years now. Not sure on figures but I imagine it's not a tiny amount. Laylabelle and Fulham Broadway

Unfortunately souls who paid to watch the 3-3 draw..not that was a bad bad game..more so if your a Southampton fan lol. Know can pay to go and watch a bad game but if that's bad then there's the crowd and if crowd is bad then guess experience. Not so much the same on TV... Yeah thats if finding the balance really..definitely a balance in pricing needed! Fulham Broadway

Vesper 30,164
Playground rules mean he’s eight goals more hopeless than Mr Roy GROWING PAINS Julian Nagelsmann is perhaps the most precocious managerial talent in the game. Last season, the young RB Leipzig coach took his little club all the way to the semi-finals of Big Cup, an eye-catching run that more than justified his given nickname of Mini Mourinho. However Wednesday night’s events in the very same competition suggest Nagelsmann, 13, still has a little growing up to do. His team were battered five by Manchester United, and that, according to other recent results at Old Trafford, plus playground rules, means he’s eight goals more hopeless than Mr Roy, a man nearly seven times his age, and 11 worse than the actual full-sized, middle-aged Mourinho. You can’t argue with playground rules. No returns. Before turning up for last night’s fiasco, Nagelsmann, 11, had teased his adoring fans by promising a “special one”. Another allusion to José here? Ah no. In fact, he was, for some unspecified reason, referring to the suit he was intending to wear. “The trouser will not be that special but the rest is kind of special!” he was reported as simpering. “Not as special as the suit against Paris Saint-Germain but it is OK. It is a bit British style!” Nagelsmann would prove as good as his word, rocking up in a busy black-and-white sports jacket, a homage to one of the UK’s greatest cultural icons, Roger Mellie. As the 625-line jacket hummed, strobed and pulsated, Leipzig’s players fell into a trance-like meditative state. Marcus Rashford took full advantage with a 17-minute hat-trick, though the Fiver missed all of it while scrolling through the menus of our 14-inch Saisho in a futile search for the contrast setting. With his team capitulating in abject style, it’s to the Leipzig coach’s immense credit that he refrained from jumping up and down on the touchline while quoting many of the phrases Roger would employ live on air after a long afternoon in the FTV bar. But that’s not to say his mood was good, and after the game, Nagelsmann, 14, was noticeably less willing to extemporise on matters of fashion. When asked whether his Special Jacket brought with it bad luck, and would he ever wear it again, he snapped: “Don’t talk so much about my clothes. I wear what I like. I’m a football coach, not a model.” An answer that was less Mellie, more Rude Kid. Thank goodness nobody asked him if he wanted to go to the shops. Vesper 30,164
Friday October 30 2020 Football Nerd Bruno Fernandes can show Arsenal exactly what they are missing By Daniel Zeqiri Meetings between Manchester United and Arsenal no longer promise the fire of title deciders past, but this Sunday's game is nevertheless an intriguing match-up between two teams searching for balance. Mikel Arteta has been lavished with near enough ceaseless praise since taking over at the Emirates, but questions are being asked about Arsenal's lack of attacking punch. They have not scored a goal in consecutive defeats against Manchester City and Leicester City and have the fourth-lowest shot count in the Premier League. After a failed move for Lyon creator Houssem Aouar last summer, Arsenal are struggling to link midfield and attack with Thomas Partey, Dani Ceballos and Granit Xhaka all preferring deeper roles. Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's United faced a similar problem last year but signed Bruno Fernandes in January, who could provide Arsenal with an acute reminder of the player they lack on Sunday. I analyse his excellent early season numbers here, and see where Arsenal's players rank in the same categories. Want more sport in your inbox?
