They had a few good seasons about 20 years ago and they believe that they should be challenging for major trophies it's totally delusional. It's a one club town so of course they should sell out every week( but they rarely do). Pardew was doing as well as anyone could under the circumstances especially with Ashley giving him fuck all funds.
