robdog 2,084
Yeah AJ would fit like a glove here. That being said & Man City not relinquishing him, can we still get SWP from them

TheWilliam 0
Would love Johnson to join, sadly like many have said it was a missed chance and even if City would sell him to us which is doubtful, we would pay thru the teeth for him.

SeB 1,281
Mancini is really stupid... Keeping BARRY and JOHNSON in his team... LMAOMaybe by choice not having to search new players on the market, but it's a good thing for us if he does not consider letting go Johnson ! Spike 12,049
Does Mancini even know what he is doing with Manchester City?He was half decent as a manager at Inter but now he seems more akin to a headless rooster.
termninja 5,290
Don't forget he said that he wants to sign a winger and a midfielder also AVB should've said that though, not Mancini
Joshyboy 36
I think its far from impossible to see Johnson playing In the Chelsea blue (not that horrible baby blue ) this season, or possibly next, he'd gel into the team fantastically, hes scored 3-4 goals in pre season including one against Inter earlier but you can be certain hes still going to be used as an impact sub If anything which he can't be happy with. If I remember correctly he actually lost his spot in our last international, probably due to a lack of game time so he can't be satisfied with that. Guys you seem to forget sure Man City are rich but we've got our own billionaire and as you can tell with Torres if he wants a player he damn well gets them and If he gives AVB his full financial backing I'm certain we'll rip it up this season. On that not Ron Gourlay said earlier that other than Courtious and Romeu there isnt going to be much if any more transfer activity which is worrying because after last seasons injuries and the slump its obvious we need a few more squad players
SeB 1,281
I'm not against Adam Johnson as an impact player, but as I said above we should have taken him when he was at Boro. Now City would ask too much money for what he can really bring to the team... I mean £20m is too much for him...

zolayes 14,489
its time for City and Us to wise up ...form a Blue Alliance ...no competing for players and driving up prices ...consider transfers between us ..loans ,,why ??? because the first aim is to weaken United ,,,and in the process ,,other title contenders as well ,,,

If we want a home grown player a player, we should better pick Jarvis, Albrighton or McCarthy (who is going to be home grown this season, he isn't yet because he has only 2 years in Encglish Football), young players not overrated...
