Injured, eh Moyes?

No coming back now after the AVB treatment. I can see him putting in the transfer request in a few days but not sooner because taking all the attention to himself so close to his mate Rio's big day tomorrow would be a cuntish move and no matter how hard he wants to leave the club I doubt he would be willing to ruin that.

I say bid £30m again next week. Moyes has just played his hand by forcing the player to train with the reserveres and all this 'not for sale at any price' talk has gone down the drain.

fabregas has announced that he will stay. Dont think that Utd will sell him unless they get some players. they would look completely embarrasing.

Moyes confirmed already that they will, for sure, sign players.

None of our midfield players provides the necessary link-up between defence and attack when we are under pressure.

Exactly. It isn't solely a striker problem. I bet that even after getting him we'll have problems in the start. Jose needs to work on the link up play, if he does, then maybe.

Rooney and Gustavo in.

Ba and Mikel out.

A proper, solid, imposing DM like Gustavo paired with Ramires or MvG would solve our problems. He's inexpensive and is actively searching for a CL club to go to and get playing time. He's there on a plate for us. Think the fee being mentioned is around 15m. A steal.

Imagine we had Rooney yesterday. It would have made no difference. Our problems go far deeper than that.

Perhaps, but it was also a preseason game without our best defender, midfielder and striker (if we are to include Rooney who would have made no difference according to you). Based on preseason, Juventus are worse than Everton, LA Galaxy and Inter. Who cares?

how should gustavo fix our problems? we need a DM who can, even when pressured, build-up a play and be the link between midfield and strikers. gustavo is just a destroyer. we dont need a destroyer, we need someone who can pass the ball and build-up a play. gustavo would be a no-brainer.

"93 - Luiz Gustavo had the best passing accuracy of all Bundesliga players in 2012/13 (93%, min. 500 passes). Interest." -Opta

Not just a destroyer. He's a very accurate passer who can perfectly link up play between defense and attack. Sandro is the Brazilian destroyer who limited in other areas not Gustavo. We could certainly use him.

his passes are mostly 3-5 m to the player staying next to him. schweinsteiger is the creative mind and surely not Gustavo. gustavo wouldnt bring us nothing. mikel is the same style of player just less mobile and Gustavo can finish better. mikel also has a high pass accuracy, because he takes really no risks in his play. same goes with gustavo.
