Hahahahahah now that's what you call lazy journalism :D

He talks like he can see the future and everything he says are facts :worship:

Retarded article...

just few days ago, same DailyStar said he will wear #23 at Chelsea.

definitely bullshit

Was with my mate yesterday who's parents have a caravan on a camp site in benidorm and next doors caravan is owned by Wayne Rooneys mum and dad, and last week my mate was over visiting and happened to get talking to them, they told him that Rooney is joining Chelsea.

I believe you mate, I just don't believe Wayne's parents haha.. Its like when Cavani's family said "he is going to.. whatever" and it didn't happen.

If Rooney doesn't join Chelsea, I would be happy to see Lukaku banging them in for us this season.. he deserves the spotlight because he worked so hard under Clarke at West Brom, and he WILL be the new Drogba!

I'm not sure if Rooney will be a big hit anyway.. too much money for a player who just is not in the right mindset. He doesn't know what he wants.. his current situation is similar to what Torres was going through before he made the move to us from Liverpool.. alone and unwanted. We paid £50m for him, and in the 2 years he's been at Chelsea, he has never seen his best.

If we do sign Rooney, great! But there's too much negativity in his attitude... Lukaku, from what I've been reading, seems pumped up and ready! From that, I know who I'd pick week in week out!

That is the whole point - it's all just paper talk. I do know one thing that is certain, and that is Moyes being close to the player most days being able to talk to him and get in touch with his feelings. He's apparently had a few proper chats with him too and wants to keep him. Isn't that another big indicator that he actually wants to stay? Put that with no transfer request, and you have almost a certainty.

As for your last point - I point you to Thiago Alcantara. The press had us as 'on the brink' of signing him - later the player himself revealed the two parties had never even spoken.

No it isnt. It is an indicator Moyes wants to keep him. There is no smoke without fire, There is no way if Wayne Rooney is having lies printed about him in a paper he doesn't deny it. He, or Coleen read them everyday, or his agent probably does. And re.never speaking to Thiago, if you think we bid for Rooney without speaking to his people first or the player himself, you are mad. It is no coincidence that the night we bid, he is apparently "angry and confused" with Man Utd. The bid happened the same night that story broke

You got the Manchester Evening News journos saying he wants to go. Simon Mullock, Manchester football reporter saying a transfer request is likely to be handed in this week. I was on a rumours page recently and there is a user on there called Ed02, who is bang on with his info. (spoke to norwich, newcastle, man utd, villa, and everton fans and they all said he is spot on) This Ed02 reckons there is going to be headlines this week which Man Utd fans are going to be very "vocal" about. Obviously he is going to get things wrong now and then, but he seemed pretty adamant about this.

Getting pumped is not actually the idea what we need is ST who can find the net when he have the ball "experience with the right attitude" tell you that you know what to do with the ball not learn what to do

We actually do need a marquee signing for the Mourinho era. It's a statement of intent and it's fresh blood in an area that needs strengthening. We're big enough (like Real with Kaka) to have a £50m+ player on the bench. Ba will clearly be sold in january or next season..

Just head down to Rooney's parents caravan. They're always up for the crack. They give away absolutely everything if you ask them.

Go hear it from them. I've had emough ;p

If nobody will buy him just put him in the youth squad.

Being pumped up and being good enough are two different things.

I saw that and of course the daily star had to do a 180 turn from every other rumor

Lets not pull out all the stops on Wayne and actually try to get a CDM like DDR or L. Gustavo

WHY WHY WHY

Dave--- CAHILL---JT---COLE

(LAMPS/LUIZ/RAMIRES/MIKEL/V.GINKEL/ESSIEN)

---MATA---OSCAR---HAZARD

-------------LUKAKU----------------

Personally I think a striker is our top priority !
