Pizy 19,259
Telegraph reporting that Arsenal are still keen and that Rooney would still consider moving there.Could you imagine? I absolutely wouldn't put it past Fergie or Moyes to personlly call Wenger and offer them Rooney for less than what we offer. Wouldn't surprise me one bit. DustinC 136
Telegraph reporting that Arsenal are still keen and that Rooney would still consider moving there.Could you imagine? I absolutely wouldn't put it past Fergie or Moyes to personlly call Wenger and offer them Rooney for less than what we offer. Wouldn't surprise me one bit.I would be upset with that. But I don't think even Rooney can be enough for Arsenal to win The League and doubtfully even the FA Cup or League Cup. I guess I could see him wanting to go as a last option. But to me I can't imagine the prospect of going from a club that is competing for several trophies a year and typically winning one to a club that hasn't won a trophy since before Twitter was started being very appealing to a player like Rooney. Chelsea? 892
When united stop saying he's not for sale, that's when we have a chance.
DustinC 136
I think some clubs are holding onto hope that he can be forced or persuaded elsewhere. But Lewandoski has stated so many times over that he wants to move to Bayern and Klopp has even said he's accepted that will happen. I like the guy but I wouldn't want him playing for us if that's not what he wanted to do.
ChelseaFanUK 1,014
When united stop saying he is not for sale, the price goes down....Dalglish "Torres is not for sale, he will remain at Liverpool, end of story" January 29th or something after a £25m ish bid is rejected31st January Fernando Torres joins Chelsea for £50m.And yes, Torres also made a transfer request, which is what Rooney needs to do, and probably knows this is his next step

Blue Gino 377
Great job Jose, screwing over the club with mind games, now the players are frustrated. Moyes is in over his head at that club and won't last two seasons. I don't want that chia pet experiment in blue regardless anyways.
Special Juan 28,736
They are upset that Rooney's putting himself before the club? Really? This is a guy who wants to LEAVE the club. Of course he's putting himself before the club he no longer wants to be at.I think an offer like 30M+5M if we win the league+5M if Rooney wins the golden boot would be fair.also, people forget that Rooney was shoved from pillar to post last year, played in centre mid, number ten and the odd game up front after RvP was bought. He did everything asked of him and has since stated he wants to play up top, which Moyes has basically said no.United have done themselves no favours in all this, they aren't no angels one bit. They aren't the fucking angels the media paint them.
