I'm disappointed with almost everything he said, granted I'm sick of words but at least they are an indication of what he may think.

One the one hand the bit about us being able to retain the league seems ignorant at best when we're 5th being 9 points off ManUnited and 10 points off 12th Liverpool with both those teams having less games that us.

Even if we go and win the next 18 games (=not going to happen) we'll still only have the point total that we had last year (86).

He claimed that little details lost us the game (like the corner and Kalou missing a 1-on-1 after we got lucky in their box) when we were terrible for 94 minutes.

Moreover when a journo asked him about his job he said that he had to do better while only a few weeks ago he'd be confident of having full support.

Not to mention the same old stuff about having to work hard in training and going through a bad moment.

The only ray of light came when I read this off TX's link

But if the club needs to make an investment it will not just be for this year but also for the future. We are looking for a young player with experience, a young player who doesn't need to take time to adapt.

So that rules out a new Ben Haim, Sidwell, Benayoun signing that I was afraid of.

Elect me for manager, ill do a better job than this italian pussy. Its a fucking shame to this clubs history to let this man tarnish our name. I dont care who's fault it is anymore at this point, but as a manager you have a responsibility to this team, this guy doesnt know his. Terry can run this squad better than Carlo, Carlo is nothing but a puppet for Roman.

Every time I read yours posts I get the feeling you didnt realized how bad is the situations, we havent seen anything like that in past 6. Who read your post without knowing our position, our record or how we are playing, will think that we only had droped some points in last matches...

Not in the past six years, no, but I've supported this club long before Abramovich was even heard of in this country.

My dad has supported this club for 54 years, and believe me, he has seen much, much worse. Like seeing this club nearly relegated to the third division, for instance. This little blip, of us being in fifth place, having the opportunity to win a third FA Cup in a row and a favourable draw in Europe, is nothing compared to that, so as long as my old man keeps the faith, so do I.

Why should he cares more about Chelsea than his job after only one year and a half? If it was Zola or Terry the manager I would believe.

So he isn't Chelsea through and through, so what? Do you think Mourinho did not love the club because he wasn't Chelsea through and through?

Same with my mum..though say 40 years .But yeh she's very 'its like old times though not as bad!' saw them relegated and nearly go out of bussiness etc.Seems more of a shock now as we havent been this bad for a long time. But it happens!

Latest words from Carlo on managers and that banner outside the training ground..

'In football, usually we say when everything is okay the players are fantastic and when everything is wrong it is the manager who is not so good,'
'There was only one?' joked the Italian, who masterminded Chelsea's first ever league and FA Cup double last season. 'If it's only one, there's no problem! 'He added: 'Here, you saw outside just one person who is not happy.'In Italy, it's different. You can find outside the training ground 1,000 people not happy. It's difficult to fight with 1,000. With one, you can manage.'

He's right about that first part. When the winning ways come, these haters will be silenced again.

Defintly! And then soon we started loosing,be 'Get him out!' mean its happened with Wenger and Fergie this season but now they're winning its all fine and dandy

Yeah exactly.

One thing, we on here, have in common (which is rare) is our backing of Carlo. We may not agree he's the best man for the job, but we all recognise he must be allowed to stay and turn this around, till 2012 or till he walks.

And the fact at one point we had had more Managers then trophies won the same amount of time..makes it more ahhh we need to stop being mental

Well that goes both ways really.

As a matter of fact, some regulars of this forum insist that Carlo won us the double and the players are at fault for the current situation.
