chrismada9 1,948
Just saw this in a article about Chelsea just now! Excellent news I have to say....Ancelotti did however have some good news for Blues fans, revealing that Yossi Benayoun is nearing a return to action after his lengthy injury lay-off."Benayoun is 14 weeks after his surgery and I think he needs to have another six to eight weeks more recovery. Everything is okay he just needs more time."--------------------------------Source: Fulham Chronicle--------------------------------
BlueLion. 21,491
Six to eight more weeks to recover... then another two before he steps up to full training I would imagine. Still looking at the end of March.
chrismada9 1,948
Returning in March would be really good. At least he would play some part in the last three months of the season, depending which part of March he's meant to return!
Term-X 7,891
This is a player who sung 'you'll never walk alone' for his chelsea initiation song.
LDN Blue 7,903
LOL we love Benayoun here But yeah I heard he'd be making a return around April or so. Though a lot of football to be played till then!
Term-X 7,891
An average player like Yossi couldn't have dreamed for a better time to return..Crisis and all that, not exactly spoiled for choice.

Rubber bullets 1,183
Actually why do you have so much hate towards Yossi? The only reason you give us is that he is 'average'. Did you have a death wish to players like Sidwell and Ben-Haim when they came to the club.
Wilson 358
This will be a boost for us when he's back.
diskoviolente 425
Provides some strength in depth and can cover up. He is committed, now more than ever after a long time out with injuries.So... TX, give him a break. Cannot really say if he fits in, can you ?

Criticism towards Benayoun is fully justified.

Criticism towards Benayoun is fully justified.A stupid explanation from a stupid bloke. It all makes sense... If you support or dislike the player than your not a Chelsea supporter. Once that crest falls upon his chest, he is part of the family... When he leaves, fuck him.. Don't hate on a player because he played for a rival team.. Support your club and every player within that club.
Wilson 358
Gary mate try telling all the Kalou and Anelka haters that lol. It is normal for any supporter to bag the performance of certain player when his football is not up to scratch. That is just critisizm. But, when a supporter bags one of our players for reasons unknown, that's where I find it a little odd. Terminator, is usually a pretty smart bloke who makes a very valid point on occasions but, his views on certain things ie: religion, drugs and certain players are getting a little stale..
