spuz 143
The club has definitely lacked a clear on and off the pitch direction over the last 4 years but pointing at the man paying the cash is both ignorant and ungrateful.AGREED COMPLETELY. Romans only mistake was employing somebody with a poor CV in the first place. Well actually the last 3 managers were all poor. Not sure who put Gran,Scolari and ancelotti's names in his thoughts. Roman still gave us £20m in the summer and has told Carlo that there are funds in January. Don't bite the hand that feeds you.
Term-X 7,891
Wonder if any of the Zillionaire dubai sheikhs are interested...Because i cant wait for Romans 'new manager every season' policy to come back into force.

Ollie 4,400
Oh yeah, u was the other one last time wasn't you when i wrote about him. Well, he's the owner and he has to take full responsibility. Yeah, he gave us cash from about 2003-2006. What since? some of those players have departed like Shevchenko, Ballack, Deco, Carvalho to name but a few. Where's the money now and where's the replacements for the players. If anyone is ungrateful and ignorant, its RA himself. You don't just play with a team for 3 years and decide, fuck it. I wont do anymore. You help your club when it's in shit and you help the manager when he's under pressure. Has he ever even done an interview or anything backing up and defending his manager and players? I think not. Fuck him. He should be out now, putting on Chelsea's official site that Carlo's job is safe and he backs the players and the manager through this tough time and that things will get better soon. NOTHING! Kostas 1,468
Roman appointed the board ,,seems both he and them bear a major responsibility Agreed. But that could be a case of a smart man appointing the wrong people, which one may think that with the sackings of Kenyon and Arnesen he admitted.I just think the board should take the most blame. LDN Blue 7,903
Question: how is Ancelotti a long-term manager? His Milan side was pretty much the same team the 9 years he spent there as a manager. The side became ancient and because of that the needed consistency to win the domestic league was not there. 1 league title in 9 years as a result. After he left, Milan had to buy a lot of players to replace the (most of the too old) starters and now they finally look like title contenders again. The amount game time he gives to young players also show no indication of him being a long-term manager. If it was up to Ancelotti, we would be playing with the same side for the next five years. Just look at his ''Drogba can perform for another 3, 4 years'' statement and saying JT could have a career like Maldini.I actually think Carlo can turn the club into a dominant force next season. If he's given the funds and a say in the transfer dealings.. His tactics work, when he's got the right players, and spare players. There is a reason we were dominating this early season, Carlo was doing something right. The problem is, even when things were down, he kept doing them. It's wrong of him, but if we get in new players I think he can make those tactics work again.I agree, Drogba should not be here next season, nor should Anelka. Terry can have a career like Maldini, he's playing his heart out these days and it does help. We're being let down upfront not at the back. spuz 143
Roman can't keep backing shit managers that win 1 game in 9. He has to sack them eventually. Carlo has a world class team available, maybe some other manager can make tham play better.
Henrique 9,133
Dont you forget that Chelsea last league trophy before Abramovich took over, was back in 50s. You talk like the club was in a wonderful situation.2000/2010: 6 managers1990/2000: 5 managers
Term-X 7,891
maybe some other manager can make tham play better.HAHAHHAHAHHAHAHAHAHThank you Roman, he will soon be giving us more managers than new home kits every season.
Kostas 1,468
I really don't see how he is like Fergie or Arsene. Not trying to compare TFW to Carlo Ancelotti but both Liverpool and Chelsea fans are desperate to have long-term successful managers like Wenger and Fergie and =regularly end up talking-up their managers to themselves and to other fans. The players go on the pitch and do the work, they are the ones that have won 1 in 9. Atm, they are shit.

NOTHING!That's not how Roman works, he never had an interview about us winning stuff and dominating Europe and England and he's not going to have an interview when we're horrible on the pitch.Ancelotti said in December that he has Abramovich's full support and has repeated that ever since, that's good enough for me.Too many posts, can't answer them all in the right order. Ollie 4,400
50% of this forum only started supporting Chelsea in the last 6 years because of the money and our rise to fame. I see so many Chelsea shirts in the street nowadays and i think to myself, i wish you saw what i saw you bastards between 1994-2003.
Henrique 9,133
And I also bet Roman is the reason you're here.Wake up brow...do you think that Chelsea would have fans abroad if he was a mid table club, like Spurs or Everton ? Im here because of Roman, and Im not ashamed of saying so.This discusion is just ridiculous.
