I'll probably be slated for saying this, but Drogba shouldn't be our 3rd captain. Step up Petr Cech!

Lol, no-one will slate you for that.

Just because you wear an armband, it doesn't make you captain. Lead by example. As Terry did/does & as Lampard did/does. Petr Cech has been on fire in goal (to no avail these days) so I agree he should receive the armband.

I don't think so

At the moment I anymore wanna see him wear the armband.

We should give it to Cech, or Ferreira if he plays.

There is no way we can start Lampard ffs, He hasn't played a game of Football in months and we can't just throw him into the deep end like that. Our best bet is to bring him on around the 60th minute mark, If its still a draw by then, We should get a big boost, Confidence will grow and hopefully we'll play better. I'd like to see us go for

Cech

Ferriera - Ivan - Terry - Cole

Ramires - Mikel - Essien

Anelka - Drogba - Malouda

Lampard for Mikel if needs be. Its time for Drogba, Anelka, Malouda and Ramires to step the fuck up.

I'd go with:

Cech

Essien/Bosingwa* Ivanovic Terry Cole

Mikel

Lampard/Essien* Ramires

Kalou Drogba Malouda

*If Bosingwa is fit

I know it may seem crazy, because our midfield is so slow without Essien but I can't see anybody better than him to keep up with Bale, this guy has incredible pace and will rip Ferreira a new one. FFS he couldn't handle few of the slowest wingers in the league before and now throwing him against Bale is suicide. I feel deep down in my guts that we will win it, however we need our leaders to step up and motivate us. They all know it's one of the biggest games of the season they just need someone to command. We need our support to give everything they have. Also, no matter how deep in shit we are we can't let other flags fly higher than the blue one with the most beautiful lion this world've ever seen. We can't stop believin' in our boys and management, they need us just as much as we need them. So let me hear y'all screaming CAREFREE, WHEREVER WE MAY BE, WE ARE THE FAMOUS CFC, AND WE DON'T GIVE A FUCK WHOEVER YOU MAY BE, 'CAUSE WE ARE THE FAMOUS CFC!

Sigh, you're the kind of fan that pisses me off. Nothing that I have said is not true. If you can not see this, I urge you to take your blue-tinted glasses off and look impartially.

You have missed the point. I am not denying the fact we have problems but I think you need to lighten up a bit and think positive.

There's not much to be positive about. Marseilles was supposed to be our "strongest team" playing for pride, and they flopped. This is most likely the same team to play Tottenham, and they are 10x better than Marseille. Then ManUtd at home and then Arsenal away.

Sigh.

We must take at least one point. Otherwise, Im afraid we be at 5th position in January. It will be a disaster if we dont get a CL place. Ancelotti's fans are strugling to defend him at this point.

It isn't a case of Ancelotti's fans, or Lampard's fans, or Kalou's fans. It is a case of Chelsea fans, and we should be standing behind our manager, our manager who led us to the fucking DOUBLE (and the Community Shield, I might add) last season, scoring 142 goals in the process. A manager who, until this time last month, was sitting pretty at the top of the league by five points. We can regain those point as quickly as we lost them due to the competitive nature of this season's Premier League, and I firmly believe that once we have one win under our belt, God help the next dozen teams we play because we will be back to our best, and then the doubters will be quiet again.

Simple answer, don't play him then. I don't mind, what difference is there between him and Sturridge based off current form?

Both players give our opposition defence confidence these days

I absolutely agree. Drogba may have the ability to do something with an instant burst of quality, but that is no excuse for the shite he is displaying on the pitch. If he is struggling with the effects of malaria still, why the fuck play him?!
