defense: djimi traore & john arne riise

midfield: mohamed sissoko, igor biscan, xabi alonso, luis garcia & harry kewell

attack: florent sinama pongolle, milan baros, el hadji diouf & djibril cisse

cool.. with these players fc liverpool won the champions league!!

That was random as hell, but i'd love him to explain what the fuck he's been sniffing, i could do with some after today. (Also Diouf wasn't at Liverpool when they won the UCL. He was a 1 season fail 2002/2003. )

Come on wake up. Man utd is playing dredful lately and their fans are living in some wonderland where they think that they are the best english team and will win everything.

Ahh it was bad first half at Anfield, yes they had bad moments but they are still Liverpool, not Newcastle and West Brom.

torres was fresh, we made two mistakes when he had the ball and it costed us. Still 27 games to play, our squad is great, we have been unfortunate with Lamps absence but hopefully he will come back on Wednesday.

What makes me sad is how mankers can gloat today how are they undefeated and better than us. They can only dream about that!!

Tbf lads, We have been through a bad patch that every team will go through, If this is the end of it which I expect it is, We have taken 6 points from 9 out of it. Not bad. We had 65% of posession, I think this shows that we need a creative midfield player. I'm sorry but todays performances proves that Zhirkov should never be played in centre midfield, Kalou should be used as an Impact sub and Terry (not for the first time) is exposed for pace. But onwards and upwards.

We did have Yossi Benayoun, although I think some people were filled with joy when he was injured for a long time becuase it gives 'youth' a chance.

Styles i clearly stated that criticising your team is fine when they are crap but the way your doing it is not acceptable. Your making wild accusations about carlo not having an input in transfers and your saying we will not win the champions league after you seen this game.

If we had either Lamps or Essien we would've won 2-0. The midfield was overpowered with only Yuri/Ramires anchoring it, Mikel played all the way back and his long passes couldnt connect up front. Malouda/JT/Cech were the only players that showed up today. IMO, Florent should've played mid while Zhirkov operates the left wing position.

Having said that, i'm sure we'll get them back at the bridge. We didn't go through last season undefeated to win the double, you can't win them all and I much rather learn from this now and move on while the season is still early.

I missed the game, i went out came back and saw the score, and wasnt surprised to be fair.

I was expecting either us to win them or they would won, but the only difference was, i thought it would be Gerrard that would have been the saviour.

The only outcome which gives me annoyance would be the overhaul of praise and worhsip which Torres and Liverfool would recieve as well as the stupid, King Torres Slays Corrupt Dragon shit which is written.

But it will be us who will be laughing as we win the trophies and the league and look back as one of the bumps in the road in an otherwise smooth road.

This season, Bacelona FC has lost against Hercules Alicante, Milan Ac has lost against Cesena, and Bayern Munchi is 7th...

I just realise that each great teams gotta loose against a weak/poor team... We have do it yesterday, so it won't happen again.

Ok so I have waited until today to come on and give my view on yesterdays game, all I can say really is that we just werent at the races, Our midfield were so poor we really missed Essien and the sooner Lamps is back the better.

Lets bounce back on Wednesday, give Fulham a good spanking.

Lets hope this piss poor performance is just a one off, we really cant go into the Xmas period on a bad run of form.
