At the end of the day, no matter who the player is, you should be backing him 100%. That's what proper fans do. When a player is playing with confidence because of the support he has from his fans, he plays brilliantly. Look at Drogba - he was booed in his second season, but the boo-boys were quick to wipe his backside when he single-handedly won us two competitions and kept us in the Premier League title race in 2006/07. And look at him now - he is the best striker on the planet. Maybe showing similar faith in Kalou can see him progress and mature into an even more valuable asset.

Agree with you 100%. I mean, I'm not naming anyone here, but a majority of 'glory hunters' only slag off the players they think don't stand out, whereas with the other squad players that do perform well, they brag about how good they are. Real Supporters back every player in the squad 100% however bad they've played, or however little they are contributing to the team. At the end of the day, it's them that are getting a hefty wage every week, and it's them, that wear the blue shirt week in week out to try and make the club successful.

Stas shouldn't be even brought to this debate, the Community Shield game against the Mancs was a fine example of how stats give Kalou too much credit. He was one of our worst players on the pitch with only Ashley Cole and JT being worse,he got a goal that Sturridge created and was literally a waste of space for the rest of the match.

And "realising" that he's a "great" player after 4 weeks of good(or even great) football is just wrong, you know what they say about a broken clock ;)

He did the same with his hat-trick against Stoke, just easy tap-ins yet people tend to say "Oh yeah, but he was there, you have to have a skill and good positioning etc. etc.". I don't understand whole "He is blue, support him". So should we be like stupid dummies without our own opinions and when team loses just say "oh well, shit happenes"? The club makes a great profit from us, fans, and I feel like I can have my personal opinion because I spend money on shirts and other stuff from Chelsea and part of this goes for paying player's wages.

if they had supported the blues in the 70s they wouldnt be calling any of our present players rubbish ,,,at times we had no one in an international squad,,,now including u21s we have 2 full teams of internationals ....incidentally drog not in ivory coast squad but kalou is ...ironic

A goal is a goal. If he taps in one for the win at Wembley on 28 May, are you going to say no it is only a tap in.

Probably you, Kostas, Badboy and others wouldn't celebrate, because Kalou just tapped one in.

I remember many were also slaging Anelka in pre-season, like what is he doing "is he thinking that he is our playmaker" and... When season started you praised Anelkas performances.

First of all that's technically impossible for me and I've cheered for players that made Kalou look like Cruyff but I'm having a hard time calling him great when he's playing alongside Drogba and Anelka.

I beg your fucking pardon?!

I'd celebrate a Chelsea goal even if Lucifer himself scored it.

People resorting to name calling and taking the Bluer than thy route makes their lack of arguments evident.

I'm not saying that this goal is not a goal but you guys praise Kalou like he did something great and he played shite whole match and had an easy tap-in and than you come up with stats and say that he scores in like every 2 or 3 matches.

Yes I was the one who said that Anelka is "fucking everywhere" and that "I can't wait to see him in goalie" but if you looked at other posts I also said that I don't imagine Anelka without Drogba because Anelka drops so deep because he knows that he has Drogba in front. That's why I was slagging him off because in that particular match he was supposed to play as our main striker not dropping deep and switching wings like he did that match.

Exactly, someone doesn't have an argument, he goes with "he is Blue support him" <_<

The "Kalou's fans" seem to don't understand...

When someone say "to me Kalou is not good enough", he doesn't mean "Kalou is a fucking bastard, i hate him !". See what i mean ?

You can love a player and say "he is not good enough for my team", no ?

And when you say about a player "he's not good enough to play for Chelsea", it does not forbid you to like him and be happy when he score.

Who said that Kalou is great. I thought that we are not like scousers, who compare Cole to Messi, we all agreed that he can put a good performance when he is at it. He is an useful player, who can also play bad sometimes. I also sometimes criticize his decision making, that is his main problem, he sometimes complicates things for himself.

Manuf and Kostas the only one who said that Kalou is "great" is ShaneCFC, who probably doesn't like you your comments and probably is answering you in this fashion.

Kalou is good enough for Chelsea, there are more reasons why he doesn't look good enough for you.

Oooh, you're so sweet

Lets all boo Kalou and wank over Kakuta! :whistling:

Nope, sorry for all this. Kalou is the greatest football player ever. I'm so glad I live right now to watch him play. He is the one I'll tell my grandchildren about. Fuck Kakuta, he ain't no future, just another over-hyped, "Best player of U-19 European Championships" winner, probably flop.
