He's been really poor recently, and I think it's because Di Matteo has been switching his role way too frequently.

This is a problem with not keeping Sturrige on the right. No-one else can play there except Sturridge. We might criticize his decisions not to pass, but Ramires can not pass at all. At least when Danny does fire in a cross it's got power and hopeful. If he's making a selfish run it's going to either get him a goal, or close to one. Ramires has the pace to play there but not the end-result.

As I said in the Spurs game thread, by playing Ramires at RW against City and Spurs, we seem more concern about containing them rather than letting them worry about us. By playing Sturridge on the left and Ramires on the right yesterday, we looked like a complete broken team going forward!

Dear di Matteo,

As you seem to be a little visually impaired, I'll spell it out for you;

Ramires is not a right winger. He cannot pass, nor can he cross. His shooting is also terrible. His assets are his tackling ability, his pace and his dynamism. Three qualities that suit the role of midfield enforcer.

Thus, before I go fucking mental, play him in centre midfield you douche.

Regards,

Alex.

Ramires has been an instrumental part of our team.His work rate is phenomenal and is quite versatile but honestly not always effective in different roles.He is a natural central midfielder and since 4 2 3 1 doesn't really utilize the need of one,he plays as a right winger instead.Now,I am sure many of you agree with me to the fact that he doesn't always perform consistently for us a right winger.So,if at all RDM stays as manager or any a new manager continues to play 4 2 3 1,what will be Ramires's role at the club?Surely,he wont be continued as a right winger and he definitely isn't a defensive midfielder so where will we actually see him play?

The only logical solution would be to change the style of formation and maybe perhaps go with a 4 3 3 or even 4 4 2 but its important to know that Chelsea are more lethal when they play 4 2 3 1.I feel that there is more discipline and faster rate of play between the players,a change in formation would yet once again need time to adapt and master.

So whats going to happen?
