Sheva. 5,373
Adds more depth to the side, so yay.If he was so brilliant at Arsenal, how come we couldn't find a single side to sell him to in the summer?! Wages. He was good for them though.

What doesn't make sense? if you sign the player you pay his full wages for the duration of his contract. On loan, you have the possibility of paying less with the parent club covering the other portion.
Waterfall 893
Benayoun was hardly "brilliant" for Arsenal. His main attributes were work rate and professionalism. He did score a few important goals for them though and that proved enough to win the always-angry Arsenal fans' hearts. That said, I think he could be a decent rotation player for us. Whether I would want him to play instead of Marin and/or Piazon's a different question though. I think we have enough depth at the creative midfielder position(s). bushman 2,043
Yossi might be as valuable as Malouda, play with the kids, then.
Hamilton 2,120
Don't really care much about him coming back, not needed..
OReillyD36 311
He isn't exactly "fond" of Rafa. When he left Liverpool for here he was bad mouthing him at every chance he got, claiming he(Benitez) was his reason for leaving Liverpool. And like Hamilton said he's not really needed back. bushman 2,043
Chelsea should let him come to gather his odds&ends & send him...anywhere. Chelsea is looking for much better players than Yossi is, these days.

DONI. 1,291
Yossi Benayoun has completed his loan spell at West Ham United, and returns to Chelsea today (Thursday). The midfielder, who has missed a large chunk of the campaign with a knee injury, had been receiving treatment at Cobham after appearing six times for the Hammers in the Barclays Premier League, his last outing coming on November 11.So far in his Chelsea career, he has made 11 appearances, scoring once, and spent last season on loan with Arsenal, where he scored four times in 19 league games.http://www.chelseafc.com/news-article/article/3025659/title/benayoun-back-at-the-bridge

Superblue 6,372
I think we were paying at least half his wages when he was at West Ham. His contract expires at the end of the season so we might aswell use him as a squad player and extra body in our team. I'd rather him than buy someone completely unproven at an inflated rate like Taison. For me the key to January is improving our squad in a cost effective manner then can take stock in the summer. The only place to be 11,313
Pretty much summed up everything wrong with Chelsea's transfer dealings a couple of years ago.- At the end of his prime- Expensive for a reserve- Wages too high- Didn't really fit the system
