Wait till you see him play for at least 5 games after he's back, then judge if he's finished. Meireles isn't the best but he just offers pace, i think he's a good choice in there if we want to go out and attack a team constantly, Luiz has still yet to be tested, who knows what he could do there.

So in my opinion it doesn't just leave Mikel and Romeu.

I´d like to see him here. I always rated him, even before the named WC. Given that Mourinho insisted that Madrid had to buy him if he himself should come, is quite telling.IF this whole Mou return talk is true and that he wants to bring a player with him and this player should be Samy, why the fuck not ? It would definitly strengthen our DM and give more breathing space to the trio infernale. I don´t think that Real would agree a deal like that taking place but if...

I'd rather him than Modric. He's very disciplined and understands his role well which, often at times, is more of a box-to-box role than an orthodox defensive midfield role. Him partnered with someone who can pass well would be quite jizz-worthy.

The chances of Modric are far smaller IMO considering Alonso isn't renewing his contract and Madrid have no need to sell him.

Meh unsure how hes a key part of the German national team and Real Madrid side, ok he'd maybe improve the pivot. If I was Mourinho I'd try and steal Alonso over Khedira though...
