Kezza 1,965
Ffs if Liverpool can offer someone a manager position now, why the fuck can't we!
Laylabelle 9,536
Because it seems we like to make everything as complicated as possible and draggg the situation out.And then annouce it at the most random times.Like Scolari half way through the Euros ...Surprise!Liverpool moved really quick! Random choice but still theyve had a few weeks and got something sorted...we've had several months and still nothing at the moment for definate. Kezza 1,965
RDM does not deserve being left in the lerch while RA and gourly wait for 'something better(worse)' to come round. He could easily get another job and leave this one with his head held high.
Laylabelle 9,536
Agree its not right and here is the problem with Chelsea and the way Managers are treated.fair enough there are things that need to be addressed and discussed but have had time to do it now. They've had since February to consider their options. And not fair to leave him hanging espically if the outcome is he doesnt get the job..and with possible transfers wouldnt imagin a Mangerless club be all that appealing. With what he's done in a short amount of time could easily walk into any club at the moment. TacticalBlues 2,817
It's obvious we're tracking Guardiola, if Di Matteo was going to get the job he would of already. But if Guardiola doesn't accept the next offer, apparently 15 mill a year, than they'll keep Di Matteo for a year. Either way we need our manager sorted ASAP. Blue Traveler 256
I hope Robbie will stay at Chelsea because i everybody in the club likes him an he give the players a good spirit. And i donยดt want to see Guardiola at Chelsea I second that!It might sound weird, but i don't want to see him implementing his kind soft and silky style of play to Chelsea! with all that possession crap! It's looks like kinda fragile to me! I rather like solid and rigid style of ours to stay the same way!
Kieran. 6,317
The club are doing the right thing...we've got to analyze all of our options. Di Matteo doesn't mind waiting a little ffs.

robdog 2,084
Roman ready to keep RDMhttp://soccernet.esp...ea-boss?cc=3436Good Ole Chopper giving some love for RDM:"Di Matteo transformed what had become a very, very ordinary side into European champions and would be a worthy long-term manager at Stamford Bridge."If Chopper supports RDM, then I support RDM. Chopper is what Chelsea Football Club is all about.

Jase 43,479
http://uk.eurosport.yahoo.com/26052012/63/blues-news-newton.htmlNewton, who helped Di Matteo deliver the FA Cup as well this season, said in the Mail on Sunday: "Nothing has changed. The situation is that we're contracted to the end of the season, June 30. We're still digesting what we've done. But nobody at the club is telling us anything. We all want what's best for Chelsea but we have absolutely no idea what the club thinks that is."Hmmm............
Kostas 1,468
Because it seems we like to make everything as complicated as possible and draggg the situation out.And then annouce it at the most random times.Like Scolari half way through the Euros ...Surprise!I wouldn't bet against something similar happening now.Winning over the fans is going to be harder for the potential new manager than for anyone we've had in our recent history bar Grant. Releasing the news during a busy period with many distractions will help the fans forget (about how much they liked RDM) and get them ready to embrace the new manager. Superblue 6,372
One thing is for sure if robbie doesn't get the job and Chelsea start poor next season there will be a riot at the bridge and the fans will seriously turn on the board for such a stupid decision! Kojo 4,676
How he hasn't got the job yet is beyond me, this board is strict yes, but stupidly strict. It's like if someone is going to give you a payment, but pays there full interest and gives you back a whopping 2 million pounds, but you arrived 4 seconds after the deadline. AND BAM!, you're going to jail mate!.

"It might not be ideal, but I am sure he would take it."I am sure he wants the job and will go for it, believing he can prove he is worth keeping. There is sure to be a decision sooner rather than later."
