Mhsc 1,097
Missed the game today as I was taking my 8 month old son to see some friends, couldn't even follow the game as it turns out I get 0 signal there Come back and see we won 2-1, I assume it was a comfortable, smooth win with a meaningless goal by them right at the end? #MarescaForever Fulham Broadway and Vesper 1
Fernando 6,585
Meh I don't think we will be getting top 4. That being said I still don't mind having maresca another season. I rather we get on improving the squad then waste time with another manager. Mhsc and bigbluewillie 1
mkh 594
New: Enzo Maresca will serve a one-match touchline ban after receiving his third yellow card of the season today. FA confirmed when asked. Cautioned for celebrating Pedro Neto’s winner. Chelsea’s next game is vs Everton this Saturday 12.30pm

Bluepower777 36
Very tough run.in. I will be very happy if we can still make the top 5. We missed out on 4 vital extra points in the last 2 easier fixtures.
LAM09 7,056
I almost mentality clocked off with about 20 minutes left, and thought it would be a miracle to score even one goal. It was significant that we were able to overcome a deficit and win our first away game in nine league games. I found it hilarious that after scoring, Neto swerved Maresca and ran to the bench. They should keep in mind that they are playing for the badge above anything if they really have something against him. The front four who finished the game should certainly start against Everton. Our squad issues could be problematic, though. Nkunku was left out for tactical reasons, Jackson almost playing out of necessity. Our RB situation is all over the place aswell. 7 hours ago, mkh said: 🚨🔵 Enzo Maresca: “In the last three years Chelsea has never been in Champions League spot”. “It’s already a good season… and the goal from Pedro today doesn’t change that. This right here is exactly why he needs to be gone in the summer regardless of how our season ends. Always tempering expectations rather than encouraging those at his disposal. I'm guessing Neto wasn't pleased when his mate Felix was moved on in January 😆 The biggest positive was George taking the shot, good to see at least one of the youngsters get a chance every now and then. Josh has shown some potential in the cup competitions, will be interesting to see how he develops.

Keeping him for another season would just mean that we're happy to be a top 7/8 PL side and we have no ambition to crack the top 4. bigbluewillie, Fernando, mkh and 1 other 3

YorkshireBlue 3,277
I watched the game this morning after already knowing the result and watching the game I thought we were really good in the second half, manager has been shit and is shit but watching the game without it been live and having all the emotions I looked at it as just bad players and poor finishing, manager has a lot to answer for but the players have more to answer for imo Edited April 21 by YorkshireBlue

He gave the Fulham fans what for after scoring as well. George & Josh has shown their ability in the Conference league. It's time they are given a run in the league with injuries/lack of options being an issue. Reddish-Blue
ZAPHOD2319 4,819
I have a bad feeling that George will become an ATM machine for these owners. 100% profit, both for cash flow and FFP. The league really needs to do something about FFP and homegrown talent.

Draw v Everton, loss to Fulham in injury time, a pathetic loss to Ipswich and then another hopeless draw vs Palace. Should have been at least 6 points from 4 games. Forest play sides outside the top 6 (other than us), Newcastle have Brighton and Arsenal away and they won't lose to us at home.
ZAPHOD2319 4,819
I have a friend that is a Newcastle fan. They are playing through some injuries and that can take a turn south at any time. They only thing helping them is no European football.
