I think we are fine with James, Fofana, Lavia, Jackson returning

Three of the four can't stay fit, so only one could actually be relied on.

Yeah, Palmer seems to be on a downer in terms of mentality atm.

Hopefully the strong squad he is surrounded with and a motivational manager can get him out of this slump soon.

I'm not sure if the latter is genuine, as I don't see Maresca being that type of person even if he has worked with Palmer in the past.

The worry is not having anyone who can seemingly step up.

Team is lazy. No one is bothering to get into passing lanes for teammates and create angles for passes. Then somehow they are also out of position defensively.

Mentality problem. Bunch of young guys with no leader who don't want to work hard.

Both the team and manager are inexperienced.

It honestly felt better under the assumption when Maresca said that top 4 priority wasn't a priority this season.

It made more sense.

Now apparently top 4 was the objective from upper management.

And they decided that the current squad and manager was enough.

Injuries are tough but there have been players who've managed to come out of chronic injury problems. I am sure club has also learnt from the last couple of years about managing the squad

Found it interesting that Liverpool when they were looking for a new manager valued Slot because his injury record was good. Not sure if Chelsea were even thinking of that when they were searching for a manager - all the talk was about tactics and playing a certain way.

Not a single real chance on goal...

Against Leicester.

there is some nuance. leicester were more open when van Nistelrooy took charge. have changed tactics and are playing low block defensive football.

Next week against Arsenal be a riot for them if they play how did the other night and he makes the moves he does all the time..

It's going to be a bloodbath if we play this way.

Slow, slow, shit , shit , shit , slow...

Top 4.... you're having a larf.

No runs in behind....ball on wing & 2 standing behind to pass whole way backwards....

Awful, just awful.....I wouldn't even call it awful football because it's not even Sunday league standard.....😩
