Plus Palmer couldn’t look anymore disinterested if he tried…oh hold on maybe he was trying.

After his chat with Guardiola I think he want’s back there.

If Chelsea doesn't make the CL spots this season., it's very likely going to happen.

No talented player will stick around for ages like Kane did for Spurs.

As long as City pay us £150M, I mean imagine how many wonder kids you can get for that sort of money

Was about to say the same thing.

Imagine all the 17 year old Brazilians and over valued mid table wingers we'll buy with that.

To be fair, Kane very obviously wanted to leave basically for the entire time - he was just locked into an insanely long contract and his only route out was to try not showing up to training - briefly tried that and ended up just going back to training with his tail between his legs after realising they just wouldn't pay him anymore but wouldn't sell him either, as they called his bluff. Haven't seen many players try that trick ever since that incident in fact.

We are in a very good position to keep our good players for the long term - literally copied the Daniel Levy model. No real surprise of course that if you copy the Levy model you might not win much tho.

No Jackson and James in training photos. 2 days until Brighton away again.🚑🚑

Exclusive: Nicolas Jackson ruled out until after the international break following a scan on Wednesday. Chelsea confident the squad can cope with Jackson and Guiu absences.

That is the end of March. Season over

Yup, pretty much. And our injuries seem to get mismanaged into escalating chronic, career ending injuries too so..lets just hope we get a fully healthy NJ back at all

But season very likely over - only VAGUE hope I could see to be competitive in PL would be Cole as a false 9 and pray.

Mean tbf it's been a disaster before now anyway...two wins since mid December..kinda just plodding along now waiting for the end

Yup but if you thought we were bad the last two months, I don't think we can reach even those levels from now.

As bad as Jackson's scoring run has been the last 2 months, he is comfortably the best lone forward we have.

True..always potential to be worse. Guess we won't score the first goal and drop points just won't score at all.

Well.

If you take Maresca’s word about top 4 not being an objective for this season, then it's no surprise the club doesn't give a hoot about our current lack in depth.

Sliding out of top 4 into the Europa league spots., barring an insane turnaround in form from Nkunku, is looking more likely than ever. So much for enjoying this season.

Just another work in progress season.

I guess the fans should be grateful. Considering this is a club that only recently survived going into a relegation battle under Potter. Slow steps.
