Wow Brentford at home collected 22 from possible 24 points 

Away just 1 from possible 21

At home they are top of the table and away worst with Southampton. What a contrast. 

In their defense they already had City, Liverpool, Spurs, United and Villa away and now us. In 2025 all the big 6 plus Villa and Brighton are coming to their ground.

Haven't won our last 5 games against them (3 losses 2 draws)so time for that to change! Just one of those teams that either play amazing against us or we completely fall apart against. Gotta just go for it and not do silly things

Frustrating game

Sanchez concedes 2+ goals nobody else in Chelsea history bar one Spanish jockey would. In his case it’s something missing upstairs still 

Shooting boots nowhere to be found — not a day where we do 4+, not a day where our best, are their best

Jackson gets a frustrated goal that either equalises or claws one back.

Yep, I’m expecting them to try to get super aggressive and physical with us to unsettle our players from minute one. Their tactic will be to press our CB’s and keeper and try to force us into mistakes like Spuds did in that opening 15-20 minutes last weekend. We clearly struggle with that when Sanchez & Badiashile are back there.

Really, really hope Lavia is good to play. Without him I worry against a side like Brentford with Caicedo basically on his own in midfield as Enzo doesn’t provide much defensive help and Gusto gets panicky sometimes.

Me too.

I thought a game that with a win a team can go only 2 points behind the leaders, but they wanted to get a local derby in with 2 midtable teams.

Fully expected lineup but with Tosin for Badiashile who is not even on the bench just like Mudryk, Felix and Lavia. And with Fofana, James injured and Neto suspended all of the sudden we have so many players out so bench is really weak apart from Nkunku.

Yikes. The 11 looks solid bar some questions mark in the middle on the counter, but so many missing all of a sudden. Let’s hope there are no serious injuries. Quite strange that there were no fitness questions at the press conference. COYB!

Bench is fine, we literally have a goal machine, an in form goalscorer, between two of them, our best youngsters this season, the rest either being versatile or like for like for XI switches. How is that not a good bench. If was City would be ooooo look at how many youngsters they already have ready. Look at Nkunku being a /bench/ option. Explosiveness up front between three of them, a tempo controller in one of them, a makeshift destroyer if need be as has been fine so far. Chill 😆

But even with the derby it seems odd to have the kick off late when no Sky tv reasoning for it involved. Hey ho...
