Nah we aren't winning this, like Newcastle last night, this will be their cup final and with Ten Haag gone they are back at it again after downing tools.

They will be all over us like a rash from the off, if we get a point I will be very suprised.

It is at Old Trafford and they don't have Ten Hag in charge anymore, I'm expecting a convincing win for United.   3-1 sounds about right.

What do you mean 2018? We beat them last season at the Bridge. The last win at Old Trafford dates back to 2013.

They’re absolutely going to raise their game to levels they haven’t showed all season but their team is still filled with players capable of idiotic mistakes or ones who are woefully out of form. I expect a super high energy, aggressive start from them but as long as we ride that out without conceding a stupid goal we’ll be fine.

The biggest key for us is the wide players and Nico up front. I hope Maresca has drilled them in training to be as aggressive and direct as possible. Their fullbacks and defenders have been all over the shop. So if Madueke and Neto can pin them back constantly I don’t think United will be able to deal with it. 

Really hope Maresca doesn’t experiment with the defense again like we did the other day with Reece on the left. Play him in his natural spot and start Cucu.

We have a chance to gain some lost ground, which would typically mean that we are destined to get nothing out of this, especially with Utd timing their sacking of ETH. I believe this game will show us the progress of the squad that we didn't get to see in the Carling cup. No win here in years and years oddly.

Can't make a prediction here, just feel the above is the learning point for me for today, have we moved on, do we have the stomach, have we matured etc.

The problem with playing United is their players have a knack of scoring those 50/50 chances (Garnacho, Bruno, Rashford etc) and they will definitely be out to prove a point to Amorim.  

Hopefully the team shows up for a battle as otherwise, I can see it becoming quite one sided.

We still have vastly more quality in attack than they do and also in the middle of the park. Our defense is capable of shambolic moments for sure but United have been woeful at scoring this season. 

I don’t think they have the quality to make this “one sided.” Unless we literally gift them multiple goals from like Sanchez or Fofana howlers. Which I suppose can’t be ruled out… 😭😭😭
