NiclasCFC 2,582
Is Sky Italia reliable? Dream signing Guys!Last Season Bosingwa and Kalou, Next Hazard and Mayne Maicon!! Man im Dreaming!!!
KonohasOrangeFlash 2,607
I would be very happy with this signing. He is getting on in age, so he can expect less playing time, however he is still young enough to give us some quality years of service. So he is the perfect age. He is still a classy defender and has great experience and a winning mentality. With Ivanovic and Maicon as our two RB's we'd be more than covered for that position. In fact it'd probably be the strongest RB department in Europe. All in a perfect signing for the type of RB we are looking for. This is one story I hope is true as it makes alot of sense (I just hope he doesn't arrive on big wages).
Spike 12,049
Spurs fans will have a wank over this. They expect Bale to score hattricks against us now. He has some serious ability though, and while he may be 30 but he still has pace and stamina to burn.If it makes anyfell better Maicon is turning 31 and Alves is 29... jmarlow 458
would be a good signing to be back up to Ivanovic.
KonohasOrangeFlash 2,607
and Age...Stop mentioning his age. There's no problem with it. It's probably the only way we can get a good RB who is content with being 2nd choice. No younger player will settle for that. He's a good signing! My only concern is his wage?Unfortunately I suspect he'll be on a pretty hefty wage packet to compensate for the fact he will be 2nd choice. Term-X 7,891
His age (31 in july) only becomes a problem if we pay over the odds for him, as he's not much of an investment.

Slam Dunk 1,442
Doubt the source. It's possible that he's just one of several targets that could be viable options after we'd made initial enquiries.A Brazilian right side of Maicon & Hulk anyone?and Age...He's 30, not 80. KonohasOrangeFlash 2,607
Or just play Ivanovic there.Obviously I meant if there are Injuries which would force Maicon to play RB.His age (31 in july) only becomes a problem if we pay over the odds for him He's 30, not 80.Yes, exactly. I agree, i think he will be demanding a hefty wage.If this is true then i believe its goodbye for our ever reliable fereira.

The club doesn't have enough balls to let the Portuguese George Clooney leave.
Pizy 18,985
Can someone very familiar with him describe how he is defensively? Hear he's brilliant at times going forward but is a pretty big liability defensively.Excuse my trepidation, but that sounds an awful lot like ol Unibrow... Good going forward, pretty good defensively. He's lost some pace so against quicker opponents like Bale he'll need help.
