But also if we want to sell Chilwell we should give him some game time in games like this.

Again, we are missing one defensive midfielder imo. With Lavia out ofc we want to rest Enzo and Caicedo here. With 4 attacking players, 2 players in pivot should be more defensively oriented but here we can use only Casadei and KDH who are both more suited to Felix role behind striker. Why we didn't keep Santos? Could easily get 10 games this autumn just in Conference and Carabao.

When is Lavia back? Was he available for our last game but just didn't get on?

Has been injured since he left the pitch in that one game he played. It's a hammy issue, but apparently finally approaching return. This match may be too soon tho.

Barrow players bizarrely offered bigger bonus if they LOSE to Chelsea than if they win Carabao Cup clash

According to The Telegraph, Barrow players have been handed a greater financial incentive to lose the third-round tie than to pull off an upset victory, which comes just before the two clubs' match on September 24.

Barrow's bonus structure technically does not violate any regulations, but the English Football League (EFL) is reportedly irritated by it and expects the club to explain themselves because this is the first time a club has provided a higher prize for losing a match than for winning one.

"Malo is available for tomorrow. Romeo is not available for tomorrow, hopefully he can be for the Brighton game."

🗣️ Enzo Maresca: "I said that we are ahead of where we expected to be today but not in terms of results; in terms of progression and how we are playing.

In terms of results, we are far from City and Arsenal because we need to learn many things."

I know it’s all comps but starting with this one, we have 4 home games in a row - that must be some kind of record, right?

The team won’t leave London until the trip to Anfield late next month.
