BlueLion. 21,491
Well David 'Average Manager' Moyes has turned Everton into a top five side with hardly any funds at all and has established a good brand of football with a solid core of English players. Term-X 7,891
foreign players have made the premier league what it is. and yes he is average, a top 5 manager aint good enough for Chelsea and even if he had achieved a champions league place this season it's still a gamble. He would be out of his depth.. treating the league like he was still managing everton. old habbits die fast, he would tremble once involved in fixtures such as barca at the nou camp. Blue Feverr 0
Rumour has it that Seedorf will join Ancelotti to Chelsea? We don't need Seedorf, just a waste of money.
Term-X 7,891
their is a thread discussing that ^ but yes no need for more old men, it's bad enough sheva's coming back to take di santos future from him.
warnie_666 1,081
Now, knowing howcranky our players could be, I hope they dont complain to Roman about Ancelloti's smoking habbits on training ground. Would be crazy to see our manager with a cigrette on the bench..

warnie_666 1,081
lippi smokes, it didnt affect italy at the world cup This is England. And there is a Ban on smoking. A Complementary Carton of Nicotine Gum along with the Contract would do no harm....

There isn't a blanket ban on smoking. It's not allowed in enclosed public places, but it isn't banned.
Blue Feverr 0
Speculation has been rife in Italy and England that Ancelotti will leave Milan for Chelsea in the summer, with the Rossoneri set to make an announcement on his future on Monday if they clinch Champions League qualification this weekend. "I am Milan coach until June 30, 2010," he said. "I know how things are, I don't see things cloudy, I see everything very clearly. http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/football/...d-to-Milan.htmlAncelotti to stay in Milan

Laylabelle 9,539
Saw the press confrence with him but to be honest the more he said 'I'm staying etc etc' the less convinced I was tbh.Having a contract till 2010 means abso nothing. Though apprantly they're gana talk about it on the 30th May so guess find out soon after... Ancelotti do the Russian job and Hiddick stays!Sorted!Doubt Hiddick agree..if only
EskWeston 696
So if Ancelotti does come to manage us, according to the media we can expect to sign: David Beckham Andrea Pirlo Clarence Seedorf Jermaine Pennant Emmanuel Adebayor Happy days...... Kajo 176
So if Ancelotti does come to manage us, according to the media we can expect to sign: David Beckham Andrea Pirlo Clarence Seedorf Jermaine Pennant Emmanuel Adebayor Happy days...... Becks - too old Pirlo - look above Seedorf - look above Adebayor - there is a lot of better and a little bit cheaper players then he is, i cannot imagine situation when Wenger sell Ade for just few millions to Chelsea. No way. If Ancelotti want to come Chelsea he have to bring some1 like Kaka or Pato Edited May 26, 2009 by Kajo
NattyBlue 44
How about we just don't get him so we don't end up with an OLDER squad?
EskWeston 696
I have always felt, especially since Guus has been involved that Rijkaard is our most likely target for many reasons. Once again the Ancelotti story in the papers is somewhat of a smokescreen. Especially given that Ancelotti has said that he wants to stay and that he has not yet spoken with Chelsea. Chelsea would not be waiting to decide on a new man. Once Scolari left the wheels will have been put in motion to get the deal for the new manager done and dusted. I also read about that as well, it's a recipe for disaster. They are all overaged superstars except Pennant and Ade. I much rather keep Nico and Drogba and what in the blue hell, Jermaine Pennant? Are you kidding me.
Para6iT 2
Yea. it will be worst i think. Plus they have to need more time to create an amazing combination among each player. With Pennant in the list, gosh cant imagine what it will be. Beck and pirlo look old..naa we need someone who look fresh and energetic.
