The atmosphere at the club is touching Potter and Lampard 2.0 levels. And its not even September yet

It was very toxic at the Bridge last night. I think as fans, we are tired and frustrated with the current ownership. There's a lot of disagreement with major decisions and the way the clubs being run and that's evident everywhere to see. This forum, socials and match going fans alike. I don't think it's fair to differentiate between any of the 3, as has been done on here, as all are entitled to their opinions.

However, the club has become completely out of touch, I don't think we are far off fan protests against the owners, especially if we have another torrid season. We never felt this disassociation under Roman, he was one of us and wanted best for the club.

We're a few games in and already there was already booing at half time, chants of Gallaghers name, particularly when a mistake was made by Mudryk or KDH and also chants of Roman Abramovich.

This doesn't help the team whatsoever in my opinion, especially the newer players that are trying to settle, but it's just people venting their frustrations.

It'll be a very interesting season if we fail to make a mark again...

Its the generic term globally, even in Greece.

Oxford English Dictionary could not be more simple

upfield

adjective, adverb

uk/ʌpˈfiːld/ us/ʌpˈfiːld/

in team sports, towards the end of the field where the opposing defending team's goal is:

''He also made a couple of crucial upfield breaks.''

 More examples

''Moments later Deportivo break upfield to take the lead.''

''Some think that you always have to clear the ball upfield.''

''After 35 minutes, they found Chelsea breaking upfield to score.''

''She has the strength and the speed to get upfield quickly.''

''He managed to latch on to a speculative upfield kick and score a try in the corner.''

Well in Greek it's definitely downfield for the attacking movements.
There was even a radio speaker who used to say "descends-descends-descends ..." sounding like the "Messi-Messi-Messi-Caramessi" you may have heard.
But we are not talking about this usage.
You can't say from midfield ... downwards to talk about the defense. It's from the midfield upwards.

Another manager who has fallen for the I can make Mudryk a good player curse….. like Potter, Lampard, Pochettino…. What else is common with those guys? (All sacked barring FL who was sacked here previously)

Don’t get it, one week ruthlessly he will throw Sterling & Chilwell under the bus, tell them to find new clubs and now he’s going to try persisting with a player who looks like the only thing he has in his locker is being able to run really really fast.

Repeat what I said in your neighbourhood language so we see if you can make sense.
Never mind the substance of the case because you believe Maresca system is guaranteed clean sheets for life, just the phrase.

Guiu is 18 years an old and made that chance all by his own endeavour unfortunately he didn’t finish it off but had he you wouldn’t be saying this. That’s a little overkill no?

The only thing that was overkill was was how he actually missed it. What does his age have to do with missing an open goal from 8 yards away?

He did everything I expect of any Chelsea player, worked hard to earn the chance but fucking missed an open goal, absolutely pathetic.

Side note. In my entire life, I’ve never had serious issues with people. Early this year, a few online guys randomly always seemed angry, stifled, and I fell into their crosshairs. They ended up being from, Yorkshire 🤨
How carry any discontent in your heart when Ampadu captains your local club sir

You might need to take a break from football for awhile man there is no reason an 18 year old player who is just getting first real first team minutes should have you this upset. He did everything right bar the finish and I’m inclined to believe he will become so much better. But your shitty attitude I’m not so sure.

18 year old who's had a good pre-season. Has a good touch on him and doesn't look weak. I think he's shown more than enough to not have fans like you call him shite over one miss.

You keep talking about local clubs, half the people from here ain’t even from England! Yet u keep having a pop at me for been a Chelsea fan because I live in Yorkshire. So I’ll ask for a second time, why’s it matter what team I support going off where I live? And to add people from Yorkshire ain’t angry, they just don’t bullshit you and tell u what they think.
