If we really sign Felix then we should get rid of both. Nkunku, Palmer, Neto, Madueke and Joao already too much, some of those will play in ECL rather than PL.. And next year the two young guys also coming. 2 we should get rid out of Sterling, Mudryk and Noni, I'd prefer the first two.

If the midfield is vulnerable defensively with both Enzo and Lavia in there then we’re in trouble all season. Those two were bought specifically to give us defensive solidity, surely?

Exactly. This is the midfield that we have all been waiting to see. This is it.. the 3 we went crazy for and now finally get to see all together.

Enzo? I'm guessing you mean Caicedo instead, as the former has been a complete liability on the turnover.

We've only seen flashes of Lavia in preseason after his long layoff. I'm still very surprised KDH isn't starting considering why he was signed.

It will definitely be Madueke because he has a market this summer and would pour money into the coffers with profit, which cannot be said of Mudryk.

I expect them to do good today in possession considering they are only facing Kovacic from classical CM, DM type. KDB and Silva are more AMs and both had zero starts so far in pre season. Just one short sub cameo.

Of course the English press are going wild about Sterling being dropped. 🙄🙄🙄

And they also seem more offended at Enzo being named captain today than his actual teammates who voted for him to be so.
