staring August 27 2023, he has 23 league goals in 31 games, pretty spaced out too

plus 4 today (and should have had 6)

10 of those goals were against top 7 teams

He is good. Clearly. The best? No. 

Pep has only ever gone to the teams with the best talent. City was the best team in the world talent wise before he got there - then they bolstered it even more. 

Bayern was the best talent wise at the time too. 

City was better at recruitment than us for long before Pep was there. They were already finding better value and promising youngsters before us. 

Then we find out they have 115 accusations. That is - cheating. Once found out. Where there is smoke there is fire.

Yea I'm sure he would be way more happy lifting the league title as a bench player with around 5 goal contributions all season. 

He's probably mad seeing his mates lift the trophy but he chose to be a first team player and ended with 33 goal contributions and he's definitely in the mix for the Euros squad for England.

No they weren't, they weren't fighting for the title the 2 seasons before Pep got there in the 16-17 season.  

He spend a ton of money and made them the best team in the league but the team that was left behind post Mancini/Pellegrini needed a clean out to take that next step and not only win the league but also do it in the UCL.

 Give the people who run City a lot more credit though. They have used their money much better than us and United. They have given Pep whatever he needed to succeed.

This is what you get with manager stability you can say the same about Klopp and Liverpool to a lesser extent. If they jumped ship on Klopp first season where he finished 8th they wouldn’t have had the success they’ve achieved either. We need stability.
