Every goalkeeper makes mistakes. And I recall in that game vs Arsenal he also made a great save from Merino + a great save to keep the game level yesterday..

You're quick to bump this thread after one game where he wasn't great after weeks. But he has the second highest clean sheets and save % in the league (only Raya is ahead) with a mid-table defence in front of him. Agree with the need to upgrade but he's actually having a solid season so far.

I have said time and time before he has been doing well and have praised him but do we simply forget how many stupid errors he makes that lead to goals, or even the ones where he fucked up and got away with it?

It's like the fan base have settled for pure mediocrity and accept shit errors time and time again. If you have middle of the road players you middle of the road performances, you also get regular mistakes

Solid few games after the Arsenal blip. He’s far from mediocre and we could go with Penders, Sanchez next season I reckon

I would have sold him or just shredded his contract in atleast 7 separate occasions during his Chelsea career.but him and Penders pushing him next season I'd be glad to see.Jorgensen has been pretty good in his recent games too but writing just seems on the wall.i wouldn't be against loaning Jorgensen before selling as think he could boost his price tag elsewhere first.

That is true, hence why at times I hate the board and at times I have to give it to them. 

This is another they gave time to improve a bit. 

So it gives me thought if they are doing the same with the defense?

Granted we know Badi and Disasi are crap but I mean the yonuger players like Anselmino....someone that was not looked at by Maresca.

Agree. And they need to with the defence.

Think one of the reasons Man Utd have suddenly appeared to find form is that Southgate said Steve Holland is obsessed with building from the back, as he was with us under Jose.
