For the record, I think Poch gets far more rights than wrongs and I think he's 100% correct in being conservative with the shitty roster he's been given. This roster is not elite PL regardless of manager quality or style.

Grass is always greener and switching the manager is always the "magical solution" for every problem at the club.

Way I see it, we have a very very young and inexperienced squad, alot have never played premier League football before, we have basically put a brand new team together and we sit 10th, that's actually rather impressive in a way, the reason people don't actually look at it this way is because of the money we have spent on the youth. Apparently the premier league is the best and one of the hardest leagues in the world and our team of inexperienced kids sit 10th, things could be worse! I think with some experience in key area, it would boost us massively.

When u actually look at it logically, what we have done, is the sorta thing that gets u relegated, so yes, its impressive we aren't in the bottom 3

This is basically the direction the club has chosen to go in. Basically swallow the pill, rebuild the squad from near scratch, in order to evantually get to a talented team on inexpensive wages. Take a few steps back before moving forwards

Personally I didn't agree with, and still don't like the fact that we had to tear down the squad so much to get to where we want to go, i.e. a consistent, talented team all singing from the same hymn sheet.

Only time will tell if this decision pays off, but for now, it means enduring more crappy games like the one against Wolves.

Agreed. Needless to say that some of these young players won't cut it--regardless of how much money was spent. Club will need to be smart on finding out who is who, and then act swiftly to get back to being competitive. Good luck to us all!

Considering the squad (as pointed out above), yes. Honestly, watch any mid table side and think whether our (available) attacking options are much better than theirs. I certainly don't think our options are better than top 5-7 tho. BTW, "equal" means there is no advantage, despite club size and investment made. And if we take youth into the account, that translates into a disadvantage, which is what we see on the pitch.

Yeah there are many risks here: not building a competitive foundation of winners for one. Then actually losing key players, for not being competitive.

Honestly, I see more money in football not less. Our successful players will see their counterparts making twice as much elsewhere, and they will force their exists. Contracts mean little these days... player power, or should I say, agent's power dictate where players go.

Yep, the longer this club goes on a winless, trophy-less streak, the less leverage it will have against the players and their agents.

Unless Chelsea keeps breaking the wage limits to convince them.

But that goes against everything this new administration is trying to do. Which is, keeping the wage expenditures low.

I think the whole point is to buy them young put on huge contracts and if they turn good you have WC youth players for minimum wages, and if big offers come in you cash out, will it work I dunno, is it crazy? Yes a little, but I will not stop supporting my club over this!

Players get paid however they perform or not. I'm not saying that they will go vacation-lite and screw the club, but some might. Imagine that what we see today lasts for a couple of years... can you imagine Enzo staying? I can't.
Clubs need good relationship with agents, esp the super agents, otherwise they won't have a chance to sign the best players. If one these agent's player is stuck and unhappy at a club, they will act and protect their asset, the player. You see that happen a lot these days: unhappy players get their wanted move quickly in most cases.

Evidently I'd like this strategy to work and work well, but I don't think it's feasible nowadays with the amount of money pouring in.

Honestly if Enzo keeps playing as he has done this season he won’t be missed that much.

Has got huge potential and showed that last season at times but honestly I haven’t seen anything this season to make me think he’d be a huge miss if he left tomorrow.

If he doesn’t improve his body language also never mind his performances, he can go. Poor attitude is worse than poor performances.

Fair enough, but I used Enzo just as one example... more will follow.

I think we can say that about most new signings tbh, apart from gusto Palmer and nkunku, and hopefully lavia, there isn't one I'd miss ATM. I can't watch Jackson anymore, he's like Bambie on ice with 3 legs, caicedo looks lost constantly, another Bambie just in headlights, Enzo so disappointed with, disasi has passion and thats it, mudryk I still think will come good, you can see it! He's just still so raw, Lesley forget he's even here half the time, badsman has more mistakes in him than a 40 year old hooker, and Sanchez is just trash!

Another coach after Potter and Lampard that doesn’t work on defensive set pieces, clearly. We are a soft touch team. That has to change. To make real progress things like defending set pieces have to become a piece of piss, instead its a shambles every week.

He's not responsible for missing absolute sitters such as Palmer missing a hat trick

He’s responsible for being a shit coach with shit tactics. He’s responsible for being enough of a loser to accept working with a bunch of kids.

Earning a million a month - Not one player has improved under Poch + he keeps playing people out of position. Who would you reckon he is replaced by ? And would that mean Clownlakes policies stay the same ?
