Cosmin 2,484
I think the only solution here is to stop reading the news. No Twitter, no Sky, no nothing. No one knows what's happening and no one will know until things become official. De Laurentiis is the most unpredictable and hard to deal it man that I've ever known in football. Something will happen before the season starts. Either Conte stays, either Sarri signs, either someone else is announced. But I am now convinced that actually waiting for things to happen is pointless. DDA
NiclasCFC 2,582
News from Sky Italia on Maurizio Sarri's future. Under the FIFA principle that "all members must be able to carry out their duties", the potential new Chelsea boss could terminate his contract when Carlo Ancelotti is unveiled as Napoli manager on July 1. However, technically Napoli could keep Sarri under contract and appeal to FIFA if Sarri decides to leave. In the case of a successful appeal, Napoli would get a compensation from Sarri that would be much smaller than the release clause. Chelsea would also risk getting a relatively small fine. Starman60 1,343
Chris Kamara comes out and spouts some waffle and some people on here believe it. FFS it's CHRIS KAMARA !!! The guy cant even concentrate or commentate on a game without cocking it up. I like the guy but he knows as much about the Chelsea situation as I know about nuclear physics !!!!!!!! I actually held out for 2 weeks once but think that was because I was fishing and never took my mobile.
Dimitr 488
More news; Sarri tried to sign Golovin when he was at napoli, and he has given Chelsea the “ OK” to go ahead with the Golovin deal 🔵 #CFC #BREAKING hmmm after this I think it’s a deal done sarri to Chelsea. Talks are continuing over a pay-off for Antonio Conte and until that is sorted, the potential appointment of Maurizio Sarri cannot be finalised. We understand Chelsea want to negotiate down the amount Conte would receive if he was to leave – it is thought he is due £9m for the final year of his contract. As for Sarri, reports in Italy claim Chelsea would need to have him on board before July 1 to trigger the lower release clause. They would pay around £4m in compensation to Napoli compared to £7m if they employed him after that date. The uncertainty at Stamford Bridge could yet see Conte STAY at the club. This doesn't make any sense: negotiating the amount of money Conte will receive IF he leaves. If the club is negotiating the fee, the it means Conte is gone. Unionjack 7,531
From what I read Sarri uses drones allot in practices and they spend much time analyzing them. Found this quite interesting how he sets up his defenders. As well as other things I am pretty excited actually to see if we can play sarriball. Our problem of course is not having the right type of players to do it. What we desperately need is for the board to fully buy into his style and back him in the same way Shitty has with Pep. We would have once.
