This says it all. Two clubs going in opposite directions. PSG have built a team that has a top player in every position on the pitch and has players that show up on the biggest stage. They've invested masterfully. We on the other hand have failed to replace our legends and are now looking at one hell of a fight just to get back to the good European sides, much less the great ones.

We've slipped out of the elites since 2009/10 season really. Our results and performances since then have been desperate for a supposed European giant.

It's depressing, Jas. Just thinking back to the end of last season when we were Champions and all thought it was only up from there. What has happened since is beyond the most outlandish Hollywood scripts.

We could've taken that next step up and joined the big boys in Europe but are instead at our lowest point in years and years.

I'm looking forward to what's next lol. This is a genuine chance to see what the club does in times of such low points, they can rebuild correctly and choose players who truly have a hunger to see us return to where we should be.

The manager, dare I say, is irrelevant. Recruitment is a bigger part of the picture then someone who'll serve as 'head coach' for 6-18 months.

I'm looking forward to seeing which players will edge for a move. The likes of Hazard, Costa, Fabregas, Courtois haven't been around long enough to be considered 'Chelsea boys' so their motives and agents' behavior will be fun.

More importantly, I'm far more relaxed now . With barely anything to fight for, no need to stress over 'vital wins' and such.. Maybe I'll get to enjoy seeing Traore shine!

Well, we were never really going to match their squad....given how FFP no longer applies to them or City,

But yeah, the last two transfer windows (Jan 2016 and summer before) have been nothing short of shocking.

We actually regressed in the winter window by giving away Ramires without getting a replacement

if they force him to go make a team with current players .. nothing will happen! The direction is one - building new team with young and talanted ppl like we were goin before 3 years before Mourinho came and destroyed everything..
