Factor in the sale of players and you will get a much reduced figure.

Look at this season alone - the club's net spend is lower than Crystal Palace, Stoke, Bournemouth and Watford!!!!

The net spend is only low as Jose flogged off good players.

Last 3 seasons:

Arrivals: £268.92 m.
Departures: £233.34 m.

Net spend: £35.58 m. (£11.86 m. per season)

Current PL teams that have spent more in average per season in the same period of time:

Manchester City: £76.09 m. per season
Manchester United: £65.07 m. per season
Arsenal: £37.9  m. per season
Liverpool: £26.21 m. per season
Newcastle: £25.54 m. per season
West Ham: £20.84 m. per season
Crystal Palace: £20.55 m. per season
Sunderland: £19.82 m. per season
Watford: £18.04 m. per season
Leicester: £15.73 m. per season
Everton: £15.14 m. per season
Bournemouth: £14.91 m. per season
Norwich City: £14.28 m. per season
West Brom: £14.21 m. per season

Thanks for posting the figures.  It's truly pathetic that a big club like us spent less per season than the likes of newly promoted teams such as Bournemouth and Norwich City.

Not just for one season but for the past three!

What the fuck are they doing with all that money? Paying themselves fat dividends ?

Why are you blaming Jose for this? The Board has enforced a one in one out policy for several seasons.  This reinforces the low net spend policy which is a deliberate club stance to the detriment of performances and results on the pitch.

they were sold because he didn't put them in the team. should have made up the money selling the likes of oscar and ramires

You know I have to say, I liked what I saw from Allegri.

His personality, his way of changing the game. Definetly a bright character as to opposed the miserable Mourinho, Conte type of look. Allegri character looks like it inject passion and enthusiasm, the others just look jaded and boring.

TBF all 4 choices are like that. And you can't choose wrong if I'm honest. Okay, you can have a preference but between 4 choices you have 4 good options.

Conte or Simeone will squeeze these players like a lemon. They have personality, respect and it Conte proved over times that he won't budge over what the board will try to do. He will demand his signings and he gives his opinion on it that will be heard. I can only hope that he gives an ultimatum now, either they will listen what he has to say regarding signings or he won't take the job.

Well I guess it seems like it is Conte as many places now reporting it:
