The Next Manager?

Personally think there is an order of priority in who the club decide to appoint as our new manager, the 2 j's - Jose & Jupp, every other name being banded around are quite simply second rate.

We didn't know until a couple of weeks ago that Jupp isn't nailed on to retire, infact he has been taking digs at the Bayern hierarchy - what would give him more pleasure than building a team to take on & defeat his current employers that it seems have been premature to discard his services, it must surely give him a massive incentive to carry on elsewhere? Why is his age a problem? Ferguson has just won the title at 71? Why not bring him in & have someone like Frank as a assistant manager to groom & take over when he feels ready to quit? Ultimately Jose should be number 1 but if not Jupp has all the right credentials to take us to the next level.

There aren't too many question marks, if any regarding Jose & Jupp but there are over the also rans, that's not to say they wouldn't be successful but I would be 100% confident in the 2 j's where as I don't get the same optimism in the rest.

Think & hoping It's a done deal with Jose but if it isn't Jupp would be a fantastic appointment.

Today, Pellegrini's Agent was negotiating with Txiki Begiristain, City's Football Director.

Although is from AS.com (bullshit media) doesn't seems to be fake as I also have heard it from another Spanish football radio.

I hope the club will go after Jupp Heynckes, along Klopp is the best manager in the world in last 2 years.

Hmm.. the reason Bayern are getting Pep is because he is retiring? Otherwise, why would he be leaving Bayern?

He's 67 yrs old and wants to relax now...

Having built that amazing team with Goetze confirmed for next season - you'd be mad to give it up - unless you were dead serious about retiring.

I do agree he's an awesome manager - he's got Ribery and Robben playing defensive and the whole TEAM working as a unit - perfect balance between defence and attack - truly a joy to watch!

He's basically been forced out by Bayern, that's why he said he's retiring because he's basically had enough - and right now he's proven the Bayern board wrong on every account. They're on route to a historic treble. Jupp has said that he would reconsider retirement if interesting offers came along so he's another great option.

I've said it in the thread earlier, if we don't get Mourinho I'd be happy with Jupp.
