The Next Manager?

For god sake. KLOPP WOULD NOT HAVE COME HERE UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES EVEN IF WE WERE THE MOST STABLE CLUB IN THE WORLD. Do people not realise that the Premier League isn't just automatically the biggest attraction in the world anymore? Not every manager should feel like they have to manage here. Also at Dortmund, Klopp himself has built a title contender team who are doing brilliantly well in the Champions League. A team he is proud of. With some of the best and loudest support in the whole of Europe. Why would he leave all of that to join a team who've been scrapping and fighting so hard just for a top 4 finish for 2 seasons in a row, are currently in the Europa League, have possibly the worst board in world football and have the quietest home support in the league besides perhaps Wigan?

People really need to stop thinking that we're magically entitled to everything and that every manager in the world dreams of managing in the Premier League and would therefore contemplate managing us.

What are you on about? Klopp was always likely to stay in Dortmund. He said as much about a year ago and the chances of getting him to change his mind were always remote.

He was a target, a serious candidate.

But that wasn't my point anyways, what I meant to say is that a few years ago this job (being a Chelsea manager) was one of the most wanted in the business. We got to choose the best out of the best (the fact we chose wrong ones is simply due to Roman and his men), people were honoured and privileged to be linked with that job. Nowadays we are destined to a life with rejects and left-overs from other clubs, managers who were jobless for two years... Roman has made some shocking decisions and now has only himself to blame for the Stamford Bridge circus.

Jurgen Klopp is just another person to say no to Roman. If we were a stable club with good future basis he wouldn't do it. Forget Borussia, forget national team, I am sure he wouldn't reject it.

We're being linked with arguably the greatest manager in the world - Jose.

Even if we don't get him this job is still prestigious. We have amazing talent in our ranks and are still in third spot despite being largely rudderless this season. Plus there's a huge amount of potential to build something truly amazing at this club, so there will always be people looking to take on the challenge.

Oh, and it pays fucking loads. Guardiola turned us down so he could win three Bundesligas before going to Manchester and Klopp didn't just turn us down but also Real Madrid. No reason to be quite so pessimistic.

I am rather angry and pissed off than pessimistic. We'll see what happens.

Now that Pope Benedict has stepped down from his Devine position in the Catholic order, bookies have tipped him 2/1 as the next Chelsea manager

Can definitely see him snubbing us for City.

Really can't see why he would, though.

We can buy anyone City could buy, have a bunch of young players with world class potential, are only a few pieces away from being a true powerhouse, and London is a hell of a lot more exciting than Manchester.

He'd return a hero and do wonders for the likes of Hazard. Not to mention every player in the world would want to play for him and we'd easily recruit new players.

It's a no-brainier. If all it comes down to is Roman giving him control over all footballing matters than he needs to do so for the future of the club. Can't afford another season of lagging double digit points behind United.
