The Next Manager?

My worry with Cesc would be that something similar to Lampard would happen. Once the initial feel good factor wears off and he’s got to manage a massive club against elite managers and opponents in a super high pressure environment, he could be exposed as the relative novice that he is.

For me, I feel like our next manager MUST be someone with lots of experience at a high level.

Cesc wouldnt win too much respect for what he's done as a coach thus far but he has the charisma and due to his skill and experiences as a player and captain he knows what it takes to be a top player.

Iraolo has more coaching experience, good record developing talent and generally getting the maximum out of players, good balance between nurturing and tough love.also I thought previously he would just go back to Spain.but I've read he actually has a desire to stay in Prem and relocate to London.

Those 2 I think would be the best we could get.

Silva seems an option but despite an upgrade over majority of recent hires. Despite his much longer experience he is the king of the low expectations family clubs.

Very much a vibes pick. Seems like a bad idea with our unstable squad right now.

But Cesc has a lot more experience than Lampard did - he's been going up against Gasperini, Allegri in the Serie A and holding his own. Also, Como are pretty well run and have signed a lot of foreign players through talent IDing - pretty much doing a good version of our operation on a much lower scale and budget.
