They know Chelsea are desperate so they're gonna hold out. They have 2 suitors in Zenit and Chelsea. If Chelsea don't pay it, he'll probably be off to Zenit who are ready to pay the clause. That's a pretty strong position for Napoli. Exactly. If somebody was interested in Conte, like how we are interested in Sarri, we could've been in Napoli's position, but we are not. It sucks but the board needs to decide what to do, because we need to sort out the DOF and start on transfers as soon as possible. It's not like we're having a very long summer to do so. Popular Post! Pizy 18,953 Posted May 27, 2018 Popular Post! Share Posted May 27, 2018 If Barca made Messi available for £10m our board would go in with offers of £6m, £7m, and £8m until Barca walked away from the table. Haggling over €8m, ffs. Roman probably has that in his jewelry box. Dimitr, manpe, xPetrCechx and 4 others

The point i was trying to make is we have enough players who can be trained the "Sarri way" at least as squad players and like Henderson, Drinky has the workrate and an acceptable level of technique to play some part under Sarri, certainly before Baka. both need to be gone for Sarri's system to be realized. H2o is just as incompetent as Bakayoko.
ChelseaFanUK 1,014
~Wait until Friday when his release clause expires, Sarri resigns and gives up his pay off of 1.2m euros or whatever he is on per year (has one year left or 2), we pay him that back and appoint him. Win win I think this is it. ADL is probably negotiating, and we're saying take this, or nothing next week. I was going to say that we probably have a policy about managers over 60, and have only now realised his age. ChelseaFanUK
Special Juan 28,145
Jokanovic is a silly and lazy term now, he got Fulham up yesterday. Sarri will be our coach by the end of next week. Unionjack, Fernando and Costa19

Popular Post! Jase 43,479 Posted May 28, 2018 Popular Post! Share Posted May 28, 2018 This whole situation is becoming a farce. Are we going to sack Conte or not? If so, do we want Sarri or someone else? It has been 1 1/2 weeks since the end of our season and we're still trying to sort out this manager mess while other teams have already started working on getting transfers done. The lack of authority and decisiveness from the board is absolutely embarrassing for one of the top clubs in the world. manpe, YorkshireBlue, xPetrCechx and 2 others

Our rivals are already starting to sign top players and our managerial situation still hasn't been sorted out like you said. They've clearly had plans in place and we're just waiting for the season to end before acting. We are going to be so far behind once the World Cup starts.
