Can't for the life of me understand how how napoli can demand any money when they've effectively sacked the manager by hiring his replacement already? Bizarre

The haven't really sacked him though. His contract is still up and running until the club terminates it. They know Chelsea are desperate so they're gonna hold out. They have 2 suitors in Zenit and Chelsea. If Chelsea don't pay it, he'll probably be off to Zenit who are ready to pay the clause.

That's a pretty strong position for Napoli.

Exactly.

If somebody was interested in Conte, like how we are interested in Sarri, we could've been in Napoli's position, but we are not.

It sucks but the board needs to decide what to do, because we need to sort out the DOF and start on transfers as soon as possible. It's not like we're having a very long summer to do so.

Any one got any idea's on why conte hasn't been sacked yet? Could he actually stay?

Have a feeling this is being dragged out to suit the fiscal calendar's agenda. June 1st is when I expect to know what is actually happening

He's not fit to lace Kante's boots but he's hardly much worse (if atall) than a player who could be the captain of the CL winners in just over 48 hours. The point i was trying to make is we have enough players who can be trained the "Sarri way" at least as squad players and like Henderson, Drinky has the workrate and an acceptable level of technique to play some part under Sarri, certainly before Baka.

both need to be gone for Sarri's system to be realized. H2o is just as incompetent as Bakayoko.

Win win

I think this is it.  ADL is probably negotiating, and we're saying take this, or nothing next week.

I was going to say that we probably have a policy about managers over 60, and have only now realised his age.
