Of course it isn't. Roman can't get in the country at the moment. He will have ordered somebody else to plan talks with Conte most likely. Also, probably wating on Napoli and Sarri to make a decision. Napoli seem to have signed Carlo, so if that's the case then expect more movement in the next 24 hours.

Fucking hell, man. Imagine if Sarri is available (which he now is) but Roman is still so obssesed with us becoming Barca that he hires Luis Enrique instead. 

I mean, I'll back whoever we hire but what a downgrade on Conte he would seem. Sarri on the other hand would be awesome.

I've always heard that Roman wants Chelsea to have their own style but one that is lauded by everyone.

For this, Sarri would be the best option by a mile because his style is pretty unique.

The biggest worry I have with Luis Enrique is that since Guardiola, Barca have still won trophies with some very average managers. Is Luis Enrique just another of those.

I would be very disappointed if we don't go for Sarri, the club's decision making at times leaves me pulling my hair out because it's so haphazard and inconsistent.

Its all just rumours at the moment, I don't believe Sarri would torpedo his standing with Napoli to ship off to Russia. These things seemingly move quick in the media but actually slowly when it comes to official paperwork. Carlo will sign and be confirmed in the coming days, This might have sped up the Chelsea plan but I think they are probably negotiating a buyout deal with Conte + Backroom staff this week while seeing how many people Sarri wants to bring. 

We may think this stuff is simple and easy but there are layers to everything. Knowing us we very well might mess this up, but I am choosing to believe things are shaking out a bit quicker than anticipated so they are working on over drive to sort it all out. (i am more optimistic and give too much credit, but this seems like a more likely scenario than Sarri shipping off to siberia)

Guys Im plowing twitter as we speak since im home recovering from a minor operation (nose). I will try to keep all of you hard-working updated but it is NOT looking good at the moment. 

Ancelotti to Napoli is DONE according to Di Marzio´s staff and Sky Italy.
Sarri is close to agree with Zenit since Chelsea sitting on their hands doing NOTHING.

Just remember to take it all with a grain of salt! these guys want clicks so they will say pretty much anything. Zenit is for sure a possibility but Sarri isnt convinced on them if they are to be believed. I think he has his eyes firmly set on us still. It would take a lack of belief in him from Roman/Marina for this to not get done in our favour. Its very possible but I think the reports of him being close to signing for Zenit are over blown. Just my own opinion though, I very well could be massively mistaken.

Italian media a week ago were all 99% sure he was signing an extension with Napoli. 

Until anything concrete we're going to have to unfortunately sit tight.

Sarri has won nothing. Not sure why people are obsessed with him. Naples has played some nice football but it doesn't win you titles. Keeping Conte makes more sense (Ofc if he wants to stay).

I think you need your head checked out if you want to see Conte staying, but for argument purposes I actually want to hear the argument for him staying.

If you play good looking football you don't finish that low. Bearing in mind good looking football also includes defending well before anybody jumps in with the Arsenal example and the likes who don't win anything because of their inability to defend. Last season we played good football and won the league.
