I agree but youd have thought that by now that would be one of the important points in his contract and it would have been the 1st thing sorted after he would obviously been in touch with Mou - well IF he had an ounce of sense.

Nothing has been sorted if Conte is indeed considering his options.  The ones who don't have sense is the Board if they have insisted on giving Conte a shockingly low transfer budget and not giving him final approval on sales and purchases of players.

The Board might as well hire Sean Dyche of Burnley or Karanka of Middlesborough - they wouldn't  mind tiny transfer budgets and wouldn't cost more than a million or two per year for their wages.

So - Conte hasn't made any decision WHERE hes going after Italia. Hes open to even staying in Italy with a Serie A club.

What a fuckin state of affairs.

What do you expect? He can't just say that he has signed for Chelsea. No one does that.

It sounds to me like hes been offered the job and hes holding out for summet. Or that he was held up at being offered it as we was waiting to hear from Simeon and hes pissed at not beoing the 1st option and its his turn to make us wait.

this is the problem with the situation. None of us know. For whatever reason that is.IF hes agreed then I cant see the problem in it coming out. The same with Mou actually but who cares about that lol

I don't think that Simeone was our first choice but even if he was that has nothink to do with Conte.

according to Juventus club executive Marotta, Conte will be managing at Stamford Bridge next season and he's proud of his success. "The fact Antonio Conte is going to Chelsea just confirms that we made a good choice when we took him from Siena," he told Italian publication TuttoSport.

"I am proud of this and for him."

If the next manager is the one who decides whether or not JT will be back like the club has said then you'd have to assume that the announcement will come during this season. Otherwise the club risk yet another disastrous PR move if our final match of the season also turns out to be JT's last and we don't get to "thank" him and all that like Lamps.

If Conte isn't announced until after the Euro's and then decides months from now that he doesn't want Terry the supporters would explode.

Apparently Sampaoli was our first choice but we ditched him for Conte after seeing Sampaoli is bad at english.

If the press is correct and Sampaoli wasnt BSing.

Sampaoli news first appeared in Argentina about one week before british papers found the news, and that only happend after Gazzeta published the news on their English website.
