If we got Conte

At the beginning of the next season will like LVG at Man Utd

He need to finish his job at Italy Int. In EURO first and then start his work here

If Italy go in a deep round it mean he'll has less time to start the season with us

We may lost another Market period and again ... our stars will look chubby at the start of the next season.

Most players will be at Euros. Those who aren't still need to report to training.

So what's your thought on this?

Does the man has any chance?

False hope for us?

Back to the relegation zone?

Top 4?

Title contenders?

Chance of what? Staying here with continued success for 10+ years. No of course not. No manager has that chance.

Chance of winning the PL, definitely in the season after next. Don't think any manager can win us the title next season unless all the other rivals self destruct.

Conte is a motivator (and a good tactician if often lacking a plan B ). His success depends on how well his motivational techniques work here.

I think there is a very good chance that he gets the team and players punching above their weight but there is also a small chance that he fails here and gets sacked the first season.

We'll just have to wait and see.

There's no reason at all for not challenging the title next season, wtf are you saying?

He left, mainly because the Juve board are something special. My mate, who is a Juve fan, pretty much explained to me the situation. He(Conte) had interest in buying Sanchez and another quality winger plus a LB(Coentrao or someone else who is really versatile, don't quite know). On the other hand, the Juve board wanted Evra on a free and Iturbe. Simple comparisition: Sanchez cost 35 mil. and the Juve board were willing to spend 30 mil. on Iturbe and nothing else. So it's definitely not solely Conte's fault.

I am generally excited about him.

Its not them being a load of fatboys I'm worried about its Conte not turning up for work till the Italians get sent packing. This season more than most we need someone sorting out the mess and putting a plan together and not look at us as 2nd important. Plus taking them on a tour in the States takes more bloody time away from training. All to chase the Yankee dollar.

The 'fuck' that I'm saying is that it is almost impossible to go from a bottom half finish to winning the league in the EPL regardless of how many players you buy.

We have too many problems in our squad. It's just too big a step up to take.

We're not a bottom half team, we're there because of special circumstances and there's no top team in the PL at the moment(Arsenal/United are shite, Liverpool is a incognite, Leicester will be dismantled and would never keep this momentum anyway). It may change with Guardiola arrival, but we can be a top team too with a couple of additions and we'll have 100% focus on the league, anything but title challenge is a failure.

Allegri got an easy path until the semis, Juve will probably be already out in a few weeks this season.

We beat Dortmund without conceding a goal in 180 minutes and we made five, indeed only an own goal for dortmund, we beat Real Madrid and we played with Barcelona until that damn penalty not whistled just before the Suarez goal of 2 to 1 ....
This year we beat City 2 times and recovered a very difficult match against Bayern who scored 1 irregular goal, with a penalty not given for vidal hands
We are not complaining Allegri.
I just explained how things went, and if Juve will come out champions in 2 weeks is just because he met with Bayern, no matter how you stay in the competition, but against who you play.

I'm sorry but I do not think what you say is correct. Things you have to analyze it better.

Dortmund was in their worse form ever, you were great against Real but i can't see anything that Conte couldn't do either. I don't want to disregard Allegri's merits, but i'm seeing some Juve fans saying how Allegri is great on Europe and Conte is a coward, when in fact that's simply untrue. I think Allegri is not a top nor a bad manager, the fact is that Juve has a great team built by Conte and sooner or later would challenge in Europe.

Look at Chelsea post-Mourinho first tenure, we reached the final with Avram Grant(a penalty away from winning), something that Mourinho never achieved with us, so is Avram Grant > Mourinho? Even the merits of our 2012 win are mostly due to Mourinho's foundations back then.

The special circumstance is that we've been consistently performing like a a bottom half team. Even under Guus, our form would at best have us competing for top four.

There are A LOT of teams well ahead of us. City will have Guardiola and the best squad in the league. United will have Jose and a huge budget. Tottenham have performed better than any other team this season and Arsenal have a homogeneous squad that has a lot of chemistry.

All of those teams are well us. It would take a near miracle for us to beat all of them to the title next season.

No top four challenge is much more realistic.

No, I'd say our chances of winning the season next season is better than Leicester's was at the start of this season. But still VERY unlikely.

No way will we finish bottom half, we will finish atleast 7th were Juve did two seasons before Conte came in.

It won't be easy, but unlike the last time we dropped out of the top 4 (to be saved by Munich) we have a quality squad already, the correct additions could have us challenging again (especially if we can keep Costa fit and firing for the whole season).

Usually I would agree that's its impossible to go from anything 4th or below to first the following season, in fact I was banging that drum loudly in 2012, but (like Dortmund last season) we will finish low due to an extremely fluke set of circumstances, and with a decent summer I can see us recovering to challenge.

At least 7th? That's optimistic. There is a genuine chance we finish bottom half. Most likely we'll finish around 7th to 9th.

Think it will take an equally fluke set of circumstance for us to win the title next season..
