Yesterday Atletico hardly took initiative in the game vs Malaga, and this happens often - they even play pragmatic against mid and low table teams when needed, like Jose. The only main difference is his image in the press, he is less arrogant. I am not sure the current players fits his style of play.

The next manager will have his own ideas and preferences, so some players he will not fit into what he wants. My feeling is Hiddink is here to bridge the gap between Mou and the next manager. He is starting the rebuilding process, and moving away from this team that Mou built.

It is not about the quality of the team. Mata was a great Chelsea player, but Mou had no use for him. Same situation will happen with the next manager.
