Lucas Paqueta rejected PSG for Milan because he wanted playing time. Malcom was a wanted man at Roma, almost signed for them and when Barcelona’s offer came in he dumped Monchi and now he is experiencing what is it like to compete with Messi, Coutinho and Dembelé.  Maybe we are not in the best shape now but for young player Chelsea can be tempting. Under Sarri, we have 3 academy products under 23 playing regularly, Ampadu is also a part of the squad(too bad he is injured again).. Hazard seem to be leaving, Willian and Pedro are over their peak, I think this summer is a good oppurtunity for young AMFs/wingers. Arlen Correa 161
Avoid a transfer ban, buy Felix, Bruno Fernandes, Piatek and keep Hazard. That would be a good year. Vesper

That would be a good year. you do release that just those three players will cost close to £270m or more? Upon signing for Sporting in 2017, the club agreed to place a release clause of £90m in Fernandes' contract which had deterred any solid interest from potential buyers. Felix will be at least £100m or so (they turned down a 70m offer from Victimpool already AND they want to raise his release clause from 100m to 200m euros) and zero chance Milan sells Piatek for less than £80m or more plus, Hazard is gone, he isnt renewing and we will 95% for sure sell him rather than lose 100m or so, especially if we do not get CL as for the bans, the best we can hope for is a deferral, but now more illegalities are coming out, so we may get the 2 windows lengthened even more (CAS can INCREASE bans on appeals, they have done it before)

That will be close to £200m for the pair. They really need a LB (Pep is, however apparently going to roll dice on Mendy and his meh backup options) and a new WC DH DMF. Also they need another WC CB. They are loaded elsewhere. OhForAGreavsie
Vesper 30,185
Manchester United to pay £105m for 20-goal attacker wanted by Liverpool; Arsenal linked with £40m swoop https://www.bristolpost.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/manchester-united-transfer-rumours-gossip-2889448 United to spend on Felix Record claim Manchester United are willing to meet Joao Felix's £105m buy-out clause to avoid a bidding war for the Benfica attacker. Felix is one of Portugal's rising stars having helped Benfica to the Primeira Liga title this year, netting 20 goals and providing 11 assists in all competitions. Yet with Real Madrid and Liverpool also interested, United are willing to cut out negotiations and trigger his release clause. Arsenal eye up £40m Zaha TalkSPORT report that Arsenal are preparing a £40m bid for Wilfried Zaha. Zaha is said to be keen to leave Crystal Palace this season, and a host of clubs are interested. The Gunners are willing to use their limited budget to bring him to the Emirates. snip

Superblue 6,372
I think this kid still has a way to go and develop (I would have been worried about him coming over here at his age currently) but the potential is clearly there. Big fee but it could be a masterstroke for Atletico to slot into the Griezmann role and for the lad I also think it is an excellent move going to an extremely stable club which will give him both the time and patience but also the platform to develop and realise the huge potential he has.
