As a newer fan I have a very unbiased opinion on a lot of players. I must say Ivanovic is one of my favorite players for his passion alone. He's shown great fire on the pitch and his offensive production from a defender is top notch. His attitude stands out to me as a big positive on this club. Very impressed so far

I've already used the word "we" referring to the club to my wife so I guess I'm slowly coming around. Mainly I meant I'm unbiased by past seasons since I didn't watch the past. I've been trying to watch older matches on YouTube when I get the chance though

That's a great way of learning about the clubs history, I watch older games and still do - however I'm sure there are better sites than YouTube to watch old games.

I recommend you watch (if you want to watch recent history) PSG 0-2 Chelsea and Man City 0-1 Chelsea

Was my MOTM last week and he is again this week. Gets into the box well, his crossing is finding it's targets (targets he hasn't had for the last two seasons) and he's solid at the back. Got plenty of stick last season but deserves even more credit so far.

Wouldn't be surprised if he's the most (on and off combined) now.

Obviously his two goals, then his header and pile-driver against Leicester, that's the four then. I thought he had a couple more. Oh well. If he is "only" on four then he definitely isn't at the top as Costa has had five and scored four of them (the only "miss" being the save by Howard's feet when one-on-one).

I distinctively remember him having a header on target from a corner against Burnley. Which means that he's definitely had more than 4. I never trust those stats.
