I just cannot see Leicester selling any of their top players.

Soyuncu, Maddison, Chilwell, why when they are now trying to become a top 4 team let their squad become depleted.

We are going to see lots of names this window I am not going to overreact I don’t think anyone knows what’s going on just lots of so called sources speculating imo.

The reason people are seeming disappointed on social media etc with the rumours is simply because they thought we'd go mad with the 150m due to not havin a summer window. And sign Sancho, Werner etc  There might not even be 150m for this window - there is no solid proof of that.  

 

 It's January, no world class, elite players will move this window.

 

Much as we all wanted Werner, and that lot    I think we need to accept it's Zaha's, Ake's. Dembele's or even unknown left field signings.   

Also, half the fuckers on twitter moaning have never seen these players play regularly, they just base it off FIFA lol

None of Werner, Sancho or Chilwell were signing in January doesn’t take a genius to work that out I was hoping.

Even the Zaha's and Dembele's seem off the table at this point, nevermind the top shelf players. The Lyon president could very well be trying to bump up the price as he's done before, but he once again just said Dembele won't be sold. The price for Zaha is well known and we could likely get him at any time. But the club must not fancy it because if we did we'd have signed him up immedietly after the window opened. He could've been here already helping the team.

In typical Chelsea fashion I'm going to bet that we'll leave it 'til deadline day where we'll buy 1 good player and also make one panic buy, out of nowhere mediocre player.

I kinda blame the many journalists for hyping up Chelsea fans by making it sound like we would aggressively attack the market as soon as we could. "Chelsea have a huuuuge transfer 'kitty' and have already earmarked 321 players that they'll go for!" In reality we don't appear close to signing anyone.

Blues pursuing Lille’s Soumare

According to Sky Sports, Chelsea are looking to sign talented young midfielder Boubakary Soumare from Lille during the current transfer window.

A product of Paris Saint-Germain’s academy, Soumare has impressed for Lille in Ligue 1 over the past two seasons and has drawn interest from the Blues, Arsenal, Manchester United, Real Madrid and Valencia.

He played in both of Lille’s matches against Chelsea during the group stage of this season’s Champions League.

‘A deal could be done in the next week to 10 days, although Lille would prefer to keep him until after their Ligue 1 home game against PSG on January 26 if they can,’ states the report on the France Under-21 international.

‘Soumare, who has two-and-a-half years left on his Lille contract, is a box-to-box midfielder in the mould of Paul Pogba and has impressed across 23 appearances in all competitions this season, including six in the Champions League.

‘He is expected to be the only one of Lille's promising stars to be sold this month, despite 21-year-old striker Victor Osimhen and 22-year-old centre-back Gabriel also being tracked by top clubs from across Europe.
